Well, Lars is the bastard child of Heihachi and some Swedish chick. He leads a unit in MZ, which has primarily Japanese employees. It does kinda make sense if he speaks more Japanese, at least whilst working.

Technically speaking Heihachi has been disavowed by the Japanese government and is no longer recognised as a Japanese citizen. I realise he’s still Japanese ethnically, but thought it was interesting to note anyway.

Lars (used to) work for the Mishima Zaibatsu as a soldier in the Tekken Force. Additionally, he's half-Japanese, since he's Heihachi's illegitimate son
Alisa was made by Dr. Bosconovitch who originaly from Russia. Alisa secretly built at Mishima zaibatsu laboratory in Russia branch by dr. B as Mishima zaibatsu weapon, and her first deploy was in Japan. Why's she alwas speak japanese? probably she just like it? Idk, she's android after all so she could switch language system whenever she like

What I like about tekken 4 is how more realistic is, there’s maybe 1 or 2 scenes where if 2 characters speak a different language they speak in English instead.
All you can hear from Bryan is just his goofy ahh laugh
They have a Character here from Philippines but we don't have that in Street Fighter. That's just sad.

Like dude, the other chars in tekken 7 spoke their own language except for josie (maybe theres others but at the time of writing this comment, no one else comes to mind). Personally, i don't really mind (cuz for me it's still somewhat fair, a lot of filipino people do speak fluent english since it's our second language) but for others, why bother adding that ethnicity when they aint even gonna bother with them using their own language.

Portugese share 90% of their words with spanish and a lot of filipino words are actually spanish (u noe, cuz of our 300 years of colonization by the spaniards).
