When a player selects a racquet they have to put their ego aside and think about which racquet will complement and help their game. This is really challenging because so many players don’t know what they don’t know as the saying goes. I love Harry’s 3-5/recommendations because they would probably help the type of player ( weekend warriors) overcome deficits in their game. I frequently tell players that I coach to play within them selves. A player who recognizes their actual skill ability and limitations will follow Harry’s recommendations. All the other players will buy the same racquet that they see their favorite pro play with even though they lack the skill to play with a pro level frame.
Really liked the one you said about being lost playing a leaque, taking it easy.. sometimes we tend to feel so much for our loses as if we lost US open round match..:)
I felt the same when I got one. It didn't feel good. It felt like a 2x12 board. I started playing with it again, now I really like it. 5 months later. Grip and strings are key. It was almost silent to make it worse.
You are sooo right man unbelievable, take a chill pill, we are not pros in amy way even if we played well as juniors Lol keep the awesome videos coming ✌️💚🍻
Hi, I am a new subscriber of your channel from Hong Kong. I have a quick question: if I buy a Wilson Clash 100 from a pro shop, how can I tell if i get the latest version (i.e., manufactured in this year 2021) or an old one manufactured say a few years ago? Does Wilson put the manufacturing date on their rackets?
Hi.Here is the info to make an Andy Roddick racquet or the closest because he as a custom handle. You are really good to make and explain the information and you have all the tools to do it.You will need an Andy Roddick model pure drive plus because he plays with an extended version or a pure drive tour plus 4 1/2 grip it's the same and stock replacement grip and blue xl tourna grip and 2 pieces of half inch lead tape on each side from the 6th cross to 16th cross.Strings are Babolat gut 16 on crosses and Babolat blast 17 mains at 58 pounds and could you do after the specs. His specs are 343 grams and 5 points or 327 mm head light and a rubber band for dampner.Has usual the closer you get will do just fine. Thanks great job on all your video's.
I might need a little more power, and Babolat could help with that. I like -100 sq in head though. Pro staff is good but sometimes I feel like I might need a little bit of lead tape somewhere but not sure how much or where
Got a question! I’m a 3.5 player and I play pretty recreationally the last 5-6 years, I currently use a RF97 autograph (it was a gift) I definitely want something lighter and more forgiving and I was thinking of the Wilson clash. Any thoughts? Thank you! -learning the ropes tennis player
Yes, the Clash is a fairly nice weapon from all parts of the court. Pretty easy on the arm, and provides good pop and control. If you want one, I recommend getting it soon because the prices are crazy rising right now. A RF97 went from $250 to $280!
Before you buy another racquet, try reducing the balance of the RF97 more towards the handle to help with the manoeuvrability (place some blutack inside the buttcap). To help with the forgiveness, you could play with a softer string at lower tension. These changes won't cost much and could change your mind about the RF97 and ultimately save you a tonne of money.
I hate that I always want to try different rackets and want to change all the time! I need to stick with pro staff and just leave it alone!!!!! Drives me crazy! I had the clash for a while and there’s a couple babolats I liked but I’m just going to stick with pro staff and not even look at or try anything else
Sometimes it's seems to be a fitness issue from day to day.... maybe some soreness in your arms. Then for me, I change to something that takes less effort. When I feel strong again, I go to a smaller head size and poly strings
Hi! We will definitely have a video in the upcoming months on our page about that. As long as the hard court shoe has a herringbone tread it should be fine for clay court 👍🏻 check out our RUclips page!
I got in 90 minutes in the gym before 7 AM today. I try to get in 100-180 minutes of exercise per day. I only play tennis two to three times a week though.
@Randall Swanson I bought it because of Harry’s review. And after I tried it, I liked it so much I bought a second one for my brother. He likes it too.
I do not understand the logic behind the design of these frames. The only people using those should be 70+, never played before, and swing slower than molasses. That demographic needs an arm friendly racket the most, yet those are super light + stiff and bad for your arm. I think that rackets like this, and specifically babolat pure drive and aero are the worst for the weekend warrior. Your true weekend warrior (16-65y.o.) should play with whatever racket they like in the 98-100 sq in racket category that is at or below 66 RA stiffness. If you’re over 65 and are looking for a racket that will help you more, go Wilson Clash 108, Wilson blade 104, or Head Gravity S 104. Never played before or 85+y.o. - Gamma Bubba or Wilson Triad, Imo these frames are the only oversized ones on the market worth a damn.
No this is wrong. You guys should all get the Wilson RF97. You should imitate the best player of all time Roger Federer by using the racquet that has the exact same specs as Federer's real racquet. If you start using this racquet as young as possible to develop the same Federer strokes. The racquet is also perfect for beginners or even those of you who are about 2.5, 3.0 who still hit with arm strength instead of using your whole body. This racquet also will be a big help for those of you who have tennis elbow.

like buying prostaffs because you have a one handed backhand

Being a WW for many years, I am very happy with my Dunlop Mfil 300.
A lot of weekend warriors in my club play with the rf97
The 2021 pure drive is heavier than I thought, it feels almost head heavy

Most of the people I play with use a Pure Drive though it's typically one of the heavier models.
Hi!!! Can you buy rackets online at your store?
No clash on the list?
Babolat pure drive 110 or Dunlop lx 800? If you choose?
Dunlop fx 700

Harry has a separate video on adding lead tape to racquet.
Hi Harry, is the T1 Black Knight string good for the pure drive? TIA
Why do you recommend on strings for the pure drive 110

Same
what about Yonex Astrels?
what head size is the extreme?
Forward slash... Finally...!!! 😊
Video idea : can we use hard court shoes on clay and Vice versa

Beats sitting on the couch mindlessly swiping the hours away every night!

Same wise man told Harry not to take business seriously and manage a Tennis retail shop instead.
What about an ezone ace?
Spitting facts haha
Wilson Triad Three
The head looks like a squash racquet
👍
To all viewers, FYI, Harry doesn’t answer questions. Right, Harry? Harry?

What string type would you recommend a weekend warrior?👀😂
Asking for a friend ofc
Tecnifiber X1 BiPhase
Ayyy
Why so serious? We like winning!
I got a great Wilson Ultra racket at Costco for $50. Too bad they don't have it any more.
@Randall Swanson I bought it because of Harry’s review. And after I tried it, I liked it so much I bought a second one for my brother. He likes it too.
I tried the Clash and hated it. Went to the Ultra 100 and love it. I wish they still made the Ultra spin model.
Harry, 4.5 rated players don’t use 107 heads lol 😭🤡
Williams sisters use a larger head. Doubles players do too
he needs to clear them out
@@trujr5295 lol ikr
4.5 means nothing, you can have poor strokes and still be a 4.5
@@firewizzard86 I suppose...if you are an exceptional pusher. If you are a 4.5 you must have had a lot of wins to get there

Men or women? Both genders? My Chinese friend you have offended both Serena and Bruce Kardashian

"Both" genders? Are you crazy, you're gonna get cancelled. Thanks for wearing a jacket by the way.
