    Not a big deal, but I would have made each cable span independent, so that failure would not drop all of the lights.
    Also, by center-feeding the light span, it minimizes voltage drop so the end is not noticeably dimmer. You could also have run half the lights off each battery to eliminate the voltage converter, or just wired the halves in series.

    What’s the next project you’ll run off the solar setup?

      Probably a submersible DC pump in a water catchment setup. Would be cool to water the lawn for free :D

      Are you meaning the catenary wire? No you don't have to use that but it's a good practice if you want it to last 🙂
