    Great tutorial and thanks for introducing me to the Xpresso tag! Nifty indeed.
    I also used the Xpresso "name output" on the second number to drive the "Cloner count input" number, which saves an extra step any time you want alter the larger number.

    Tried the blend trick with 3 different versions of c4d and it doesn't work with neither of them.

      You have to use 'text spline' now - the new text object broke this, assuming as its already got extrusions applied
