I love this video! I’ve been learning a lot, I really like the flow style of showing the moves together with the music, it helps get the vibe going, thanks!
Just an observation, take it or leave it. You might want to consider demonstrating the basic in it's common form "Passo Básico pra frente e pra tras" or Basic Step back and forth in English. The movement shown here which uses all passing open steps is used on counts 3, 4 & on the forward half to set up a Lateral or possibly Preparação pro giro/Abertura or Preperation for Turn/Opening to Lunge in English. I only mention this because I have never seen what you're doing taught as a basic. Definitely interesting as a variation for setting up turns though.
Comment for anyone stumbling in becuase of the YT algorithm. It's the balanço frente e tras footwork, it was taught as first basic in some places up to 2017 and in fewer places beyond that. Video is a bit dated, and the way he uses his movements reflect that as well as the musicality 1 framework rather than today's traditional 2.
can you make a video about the posture while doing the paso básico? I know a LOT of moves but I somehow look stupid while dancing. I don't look confident enough and I look sloppy
Nice video! One thing though: I think you mixed balao with boneca. Balao means baloon and this is what you showed. A boneca means hand puppet and is a combination of balao and frango assado (roasted chicken).
Looks great. Well done
Assim eu vou aprender a dança. Very good
