Sir machanic said my car first cylinder stop working so it shows missing or lots of vibration during driving and costing of repair is rs 1.25 lac can its cover in engine protection cover

Mechanical damage covered nahi hain. Agar Engine ko bahri karan se nuksan hua hai aur oil drain ho jata hai uski wajah se engine seize hona covered hai.

5 saal tak jyadatar inurers engine protect dete hain agar apki previous policy mein engine protect cover hai to. Uske baad bhi kuch companies de sakti hain but prices jyada charge kiye jayenge.

Sir, I always try to avoid water logged areas when drive & check immediately for leakages whenever car underbody hits something or scraps.
& our area has nowhere near flood zone.
I'm renewing policy so I may avoid adding engine protection completely or not.
I'm adding Zero Dep.+ RTI & leaving Key Protection+Consumables+RSA+Engine Protect in my Maruti Suzuki Car.
Please suggest me accordingly as it'll be so helpful for me.
Sir if you are choosing all add-ons then add engine protect also. As engine and gearbox costs a major fraction of total vehicle cost. But if you are sure you will not encounter any damages to these parts you can avoid it.
@@insuranceimpact Thanks for quick reply & one more question that I've had a dent on left side door due to collision with a Scooter's open Foot Rest then I saw it to a local mechanic who tries to fix the dent but it still looks very bad.
Can I fix it using insurance now or they'll reject the claim as it was operated by local mechanic.
& if claim rejects then it'll count or not specially in case of NCB as I haven't used the insurance yet.
@@abhimd3455Sir this Claim will be rejected pls get it repaired on your own or can leave it as it is. Once a claim is intimated NCB will be zero irrespective of approval or denial.

Sir ye alag fault hai Engine protect mein engine ka cease hona cover hota hai. Agar ye kisi accident se hua hai to aap damaged parts ka claim le sakte hain.

Abdul ji engine protect mein mainly 2 nuksan cover hote hain. Engine me pani ghusne se cease hona, ya kisi bahri damage se oil drain hone k karan engine cease hona.

Engine protect required if car is already under warranty period
Warranty covers only manufacturing defects, engine protect covers external damages to engine like water ingression. Both have different usages.

Mil jata hai , Previous policy mein bhi hona chahiye.
