    Hmmm, it sounds really good👏…!
Do the strings sounds really come from Albion One…..? This was my first orchestral library, I wouldn’t believe you could reach such results with it….- great job..🙋🤗

Hey thanks a lot!! Yes it’s all the Albion One strings! If takes some work to make these libraries sound real :
      - you really have to compose something like you would for a real string orchestra, divide each line by subgroups (vln 1-2, violas, cellos, double bass)
      - when you record, instead of doing all the strings in one take, record each line separately, even on different tracks. Although these libraries reproduce a full orchestra very well, you need to do this for a multilayered arrangement.
      - Do the right velocity and expression for each line, a common mistake is to apply the same to all lines. Although generally a string orchestra will play in the same general dynamics together, some part might need to be brought forward for just half a bar, and then the next half bar another one, etc.

Thank you a lot for the useful tips..! Anyway - there is also one basic step we skipped somehow…there is also necessary to write the right notes at first🙋🤷‍♂️🙂…
Probably - it doesn’t have to be that easy…..of course, you cannot help anyone with this🤷‍♂️….
Did you study composing, harmony, instrumentation…university/academy or something….?
As a university studied teacher of musical education, I have passed the exams from the harmony, musical forms, intonation etc. but pity - not composing, instrumentation of the orchestra..
      I miss this a lot…🤷‍♂️….

Composition can be taught yes, and lots of videos on my channel (look at the ‘music education’ playlist) can help you with that! One of my recent videos is on how to harmonize this melody, I give three different options, the one you hear in this video is the 3rd option! I will also share a video soon on how I composed this 4-part music with all this counterpoint.
Yes, I have a bachelor and master degree in music composition! So like you I had basic theory classes, but also classes on how to compose within different styles, and also how to develop your own langage. You have the basics, but now can be the time to take it to the next level by trying to compose things!
Hopefully my channel can help. As I grow, I will start to open up classes where viewers can send their music and I can comment, if that’s something interesting for you!
