Honestly, not a single track that I dislike. Collision Chaos Bad Future is the only one that I find to be mid, the rest are either good or just, mindblowingly stunning man. SEGA might've had some issues with the quality of their games, but man did the sound teams never slack! (Except for Sonic 4 lol)

Surprisingly, Naofumi Hataya is still on Sega, and composed the classic stage tracks on Sonic Forces, and I'm pretty sure he's gonna be back on Sonic Frontiers. I'm not sure about Masafumi Ogata tho.

Canonically, it could be, since in Sonic Mania, at the start of Metal Sonic's boss fight, a very quiet "I am Sonic" can be heard at the start, with a voice very similar to this one.
Imagine listening to this when the game your playing gives you an option to choose between being good or bad, for me...this song would make it hard for me to choose, because this song gives me some sort of "you've messed up, its all your fault this happened" feeling.

The atmosphere and tone in this version fits the scenario in which you'd end up hearing this track immaculately - it really makes it feel like you've failed. Robotnik's won, and the situation is truly hopeless. All the sinister laughs and voice clips help the tone as well, with the robotic voice telling you the opposite of what's sung in You Can Do Anything being super clever - from "If you try, you can do anything" to "You can't do anything, so don't even try" One of my absolute favourites from this soundtrack for the excellent execution of its tone and all the cool details.
a cool thing they could have done is affect sonic's movement depending on what time hes in for example the bad future could cause a "panic mode" where the controls are in and out with power and his speed is out of control, while good future would be a more calm effect where the movement is fully in control and power and speed is up to you. past would have a slowed movement and power to escalate with the feel and music. present would be the default. custom spites for these effects would be present along with a meter/bar stating the effects.
Uhh no that's a terrible idea and it would feel terrible to play, thank god they didn't do this and I hope no game ever implements anything even close to this stupid idea.
