      No, it doens't need baking powder, the cake rises and stays fluffy because of the technique of beating the eggs and the sugar on bain marine! 😘

    I thought marzipan and fondant were two different things?

      A normal fondant is made only of icing sugar, a marzipan fondant on the other hand is a fondant to which we add almond paste or almond flavour.
