I am not fully sure how exactly he is going to do it because its such a new idea of his at the moment and i actually dont know thd developer myself im just saying from what i heard him say it to another youtuber on a stream while he was on a voice call with the developer the youtuber it was, was raptor and he mentions diesel in one of his stream videos of the game....
Just add another splitter that will spit the gold out of the side into a hole like the others. Maybe make the hole 2x2 rather than 2x1 since there is a higher frequency of gold nuggets. Also, maybe try lowering the furnaces down one foundation level so you can just store your crucibles in them and drop nuggets straight into them and not have to move them again. Get 10 of them and by the time you dropped the 10th one in the first will be closed to melted.
If you connect your sorter pipes together, you would not need the valve and it would not use as many pipes. You can also use conveyors to have a wall that a pipe passes through
When I first started watching this game I was so interested on the mechanics of everything and how simple it appeared.....then I started watching this episode and OMG this is on another level, AMAZING job, you’re cheery personality added to your ideas for making this better is OUTSTANDING. 👍
thats cool the system i spoke about in the last video gets put into play in this video.. awesome to see it working... my next suggestion would be to add the gem sections of piping down in the cave ur digging in so u can just add them i when u find them
Don't know if anyone has mentioned it yet, but the red valves that are modeled into the bottom of one side of the conveyor belts are functional. They will stop water from going to the next section, so turn the valve on the last conveyor to stop water from leaking. Then you don't need an extra valve at the end. I haven't tried with the gem splitter yet, but I have a feeling that they will operate like real-world 3-way valves, one setting for 2 out, one for straight through, and one for an L.
Why not dig it yourself and dump the rocks on a conveyor belt and have it go on to the auto sifter then have a covered conveyer belt 3 blocks long that connects to your auto sorter so you don't have to worry about the ore flying around
As for pipe cleanup, you could bring in the pipes from the side and not the back. Can you try having the ores shoot directly into the smelter pot so maybe you wouldn't have to worry about nuggets all over the place?
One idea to slightly improve the water pressure. At the moment you have an 'S' on the top side where two of the pressure pipes and the valve are located. have that as a straight run to the water (with the three "pressure" pipes together) would save about 5%.
Put a wall up behind (3/4 high, then over the top, then one coming down above your head) the conveyor so when your dump they don't go flying as much - might make it slightly easier
You could use another splitter to throw the gold nuggets in a ditch like you did with all the other resources, just filter out gold on another splitter after the one for iron. It should work like a 90° bend and spit all the gold to the side so you dont have to worry its bugging into or through the water pipes. For thy trashcan you could buy a second truck and stack all the unwanted stuff in the trunk where they have no collision, it might help to drive said truck away a fair distance so it is outside the loaded area where you play in, as some settings for mashines get reset as well if you move to far away from them to buy more spanners, etc
You can keep the bucket under the dripping water so as you clean the dirt it automatically refills so you can just digging and cleaning without moving the bucket

Diesel you need the long slanted roof as a ramp to walk up not the short roof. Also Put your wash pan under your water and don’t move just keep adding dirt and scrub rinse and repeat also if you build it on the left side of your conveyor you can just click and drop

Put a conveyor on the output of the sorting machine, and close the valve on the conveyor. Shouldn't lose pressure and stuff should roll gently into a bucket/hole
the reason why it glitches and launches the mats is because when you put stuff in a bucket, they glitch together, i suggest you put block around the spot where you place your mats on your conveyor so you can pour them in and it launches into a roof and falls on said conveyor.
Just add regular belt behind that sorter, and close valve on that belt, no need to place extra corner pipe and valve. At 1st u will be able close that water and 2nd sorter will not shoot nuggets out but it will place in on that belt

Just a suggestion: try putting a rammer at bedrock level instead of the top soil level. You might get the giant nuggets when you wash it, so you don’t have to manually dig.
From what I have seen, you can put the auto-miner down on bedrock. And it will give you the big stuff. But the other auto thing will still pop out little stones.
Why not make a conveyor belt that can take a tray, like a bucket. But when the tray is placed IN the conveyor the water runs through it and then the player can just use the brush. The ores then get transported onto the conveyor. Or make a funnel Make a large pressure tank. Treasure chests (I mean come on, the game has a lot of booty and coin to be stored, gems and gold) Maybe a lamp post that helps hold lanterns In the air so players can make use of their old lanterns. Kind of like an upgrade almost. That also allows for some fun in other ways... how about shard lanterns? Hmmm... U could also do with a soil tank. Just allows the player to conveyor chunks into a large bin. Idk, I’m just having fun popin ideas left and right. If anybody reads this comment your own, this game has really great potential and us fans have to vent some how lol. This game must be so addicting. I’m hooked just watching it and this is literally just like watching someone playing an upgraded version of a tycoon game u’d play on your phone. Wow, what has all this free time done to me! :p

You get bigger ore when you place your automation drill in deeper lvl, must be combined rocks probably too. But im not sure if you get bigger ore when you place the stone in the refinery ^^'

You can put more than 1 gold nug when you make the bars
you can actually smelt more than one big ore at the same crucible and make a very expensive bar
the ores clip to each other in the crucible

Use the other roof sections and make a spiral staircase. You won't slide on them. Watch dev episode where he visits someones base.

from what Ive seen, if you set the auto miner up on the bedrock level then it will produce the large nuggets that you are looking for
You could buy another one of those trucks to put all the stuff on the back and then use that as storage since they don't have collisions on it

You dont have to put the dirt in the small bucket. You can drop it automatically in the big bucket.
The pounder works for getting dirt the harvester doesn’t though you can set it up to give you dirt and you brush it

Have the sorted ore drop into a forge and crucible. Then they get smelted automatically and you just dump em into the molds ;)
Why do you hold the bucket up to the spigots to fill with water? The water drop can land on them from the ground and keep it full.

Run a normal pipe with no filter to the hole. Put the bucket under it. Fill it, brush it. No need to even pick it up to empty it.
Add a cover and a wall on the opposite side of the conveyor belt at the bottom so when you dump the nuggets on the belt they can't go flying off.
If you put the machines on deeper soil they will produce much more ores
You could put a roof tile where the gold drops guiding it to the side and into a pit like the others.
Try putting the soilrammer (or what it's called) down in the mine and use that for getting the dirt, the scrub it yourself to get the big nuggets...
for the roof ramp use the longer roof pieces then you can walk on the as they are not as steep

Can you circulate the water pipes back into each other? It might help your conveyor system.

Place the miner a bedrock(The dirt does give big ore and gems), and you can use your current convener system with it.
You need to place those "auto miner" on the lower dirt layer then you get big nuggets too :)

Also you should go to the first mine and try to find a sword hidden in the dirt

You have to use the long roof panels as a ramp not the short ones

if you put a wall next to the conveyor and a slanted roof down there when the gold and silver explode the land on the conveyor
should put one post on each side of pipes and build a roof for like a 1x1 over pipes make it look nice

take advantage by putting the roof to get down and put some conveyor belts to get up
You need to place it down for bigger nugget. Just place it in the underground mine and you will be pumping bigger nugget then rather than small one.
