In this fun ride comparison video we're riding three late 1970s to early 1980s Kawasaki KZ1000s and I'll pick a winner at the end! The bikes featured are the 1978 Kawasaki KZ1000 LTD, 1979 Kawasaki KZ1000 Shaft, and 1981 Kawasaki KZ1000 CSR. These are three recent restoration projects and each of these bikes has been thoroughly gone through and upgraded with handlebars and brake mods that unlock their sporting potential. Though these great bikes are no longer the top performing motorcycles they once were, they still offer impressive performance (among the quickest bikes of their time), classic styling and mechanical simplicity compared to the later bikes. Which one is the winner? Let's find out together!
