Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillery !!!
Horses are less tall, but very robusts and serene. Historically, they had to endure noise and fear
I suggest you call them by their correct title, which is :- The Royal Horse Artillery!!
So great to see and learn about British history. Just love the pageantry. Learning so much. 70 years old and still learning. Thank you from Randolph New York.
British tradition at its best Kathleen.😀
Well, if I were soldier, I would be from Artillery. In war , gunners are behind the lines, attacking but protecting with their big guns. They must be very accurate and respectful. They need a lot of technique and calm, simple and confortable wardrobe in order to do a good job.
Thank you for your informative comments, Anna Maria. All helps to understand and enjoy our rich heritage.🇬🇧💕
RHA - Royal Horse Artillery
Please get the names of the regiments correct!
I love watching anything to do with the Guards, would love to see them in person. Jill from New Zealand.
Excellent and unexpected
From Australia. How wonderful. Always great to catch a glimpse of living history. The horses are stunning. The uniforms are beautiful.
Thanks for sharing x
Watching from North Queensland Australia I enjoy watching the the guards in action and love the Bands playing. You have a very interesting voice.
Devon. Love those saddles. They all look so comfortable and easy in them. Beautiful 🇬🇧💕❤️
Lovely to see ! Thank you for bringing that unexpected scene to us. The pride of our country ! Jill from Sevenoaks, Kent.
So many women in The Kings Troop now
Thank you for sending the film of these
Wonderful horses and riders always very magnificent.
Lovely to see the Kings Royal Horse Artillery today, as well as the Guards and Band. The KRHA ride so well they are a pleasure to watch, fluid, graceful, relaxed, but upright. Such a poignant reminder of King George V1 who, I believe commissioned them in their beginning. It looked as though all but one of the riders was female. Interesting sign of the times. Thank you for covering this event so well.
King’s **Troop**, Royal Horse Artillery.
King George did not “commission”them. They were formerly known as the Riding Troop. At the suggestion of Brigadier John Anquetil Norman, the King declared that the Riding Troop would be known as 'The King's Troop' when he visited their barracks The King issued his proclamation on 24 October 1947 by amending the page on the visitors' book by striking out the word "Riding" and inserting "King's".
On her accession, Queen Elizabeth II declared that the name 'The King's Troop' would remain in honour of her father.
Thank you for the wonderful programming.
Many women in this Regiment..Nice
Apparently 60% of the RHA gunners are female. 🙂
Watching from Germany. Meine Großeltern haben die Kaiserzeit erlebt und immer davon geschwärmt wen Sie so etwas sehen durften.
Looks like Irish band and Welsh guards. I see Brutus, the new beautiful police horse (blue roan)
I saw John’s video Friday they used a different route to horse guards. They came through the front of horse guards. It was very interesting
I don’t know if you knew or not, but they went a different route because the normal route in back was closed off because the bleachers used during the celebration with the emperor from Japan were still up to my knowledge
Watching these lovely horses from Berlin Germany
I live in West Virginia, USA. Live these videos.
Watching from New Hampshire in the States.
You have a lovely narrating voice from east kilbride nr Glasgow
So nice to see…
This band of 'Artillery ' have a very high percentage of females
@@shirleykibbie5149A Troop, not a band….
@@shirleykibbie5149 • Approximately 60% of the RHA gunners are female. 🙂

Já je teď sleduji co tam jsou, jsou úžasní, škoda, že vidíme tak málo 🤗🤩
It looks like nice weather, we’re having a heat wave and it’s miserable here in the San Francisco Bay Area. I’ve been loving the artillery regiment since I’ve been watching them over on John’s channel, those female troopers and there horses are so cool. 🥰
Tuning in from Yorkshire…always been passionate about military parades and the discipline

Lovely video. Watching from Ottawa, Canada.
Hi Jersey Channel Islands.
it is NOT the Kings Guard Artillery Regiment it is the kings Troop Royal Artillery
viewing from Bremerton WA
omaha nebraska beautiful
Kings Troop, Royal Horse Guards Artillery Battery is NOT a regiment. It is a ceremonial unit. A regiment has approximately 650 personnel, the RHA has approximately 140 personnel.
The correct name is The King’s Troop, Royal Horse Artillery.
They aren’t Guards. They are the ceremonial artillery battery for the Household Brigade. (A brigade is infantry, cavalry and artillery)
The RHA currently consist of three regiments and one ceremonial unit, the King’s Troop.
@@Roheryn100 Yes, thank you for pointing out my brain lapse earlier as I do know that - I think I kept hearing "guard" in the video as I was typing my reply. Thanks again.
@@heatherharvey3129 No problem…😉
we are always seeing these short guards lately , I thought guardsmen had to be 6ft .
Height restrictions were abolished a decade or so ago.
Most of these artillery "gunners," (not guards) are female.
You sound like Cameron from GBNews
You must have seen them in trooping of the colour, I did.
It's the Albert Memorial
Apparently doing only 2 weeks during summer then 2 weeks at Christmas I heard.
The two police horses are "heavy horses." Do you know the breeds?
Kings artillery going to horse guards, while life guard horses out to grass
How many male/female troupers? I can only see one male.
11:00 cop on a bike somewhat spoilt it!
Did you see Christopher Robin and Alice in the crowd ?
Is that all women in this guard?
At least 60% of them are female. 🙂
@@monicawarner4091 kinda looked that way
they need to get that arm swinging unformed most of the units are in sync and you get one or two out of sync
If rifles are held in the left arm, the right arm is swung
If u r a flag bearer (right arm) then left hand is swung.
Therefore it appears to be out of sync, but it is not.
When both arms are swung , u would not notice !
@@DJKSB58 • Thankyou. I was paying attention to their feet and didn't notice their arms. I didn't see anyone out of sync.
All female guards I think.
The commentator talks crap! In BRITAIN we have Footpaths NOT sidewalks. And SE1 IS SOUTH EAST, NOT SOUTH WEST! WAYNE KERR
If u don't like what ur watching. Don't watch then simple. He is doing a great job as there's alot of Americans who watch this channel. Stop being a troll.
You are so brilliant, not having a clue at all. There are those of us who have no problem since commentator is correct. Please get back to your corner. You need to learn proper manners and thought process.
@@palamcginn3158he is such a egotistical jerk. TY for your comment
John from London City Walks is the most informative + intelligent

This young man did a brilliant job. I, for one, am very grateful for his commentary!😊
