This was very long-winded. Not to mention this lady deserved everything that happened to her. She could tell from the very beginning how the mother-in-law and to be husband weren't very good people. You could tell from the beginning that he was a mama's boy and that the mother-in-law was going to be a witch throughout the her marriage if she married the son. She knew all of it and she married him anyway. She also stayed around for a few years after things got even worse. I call that bringing problems onto yourself. I hope that your daughter grows up to have more self-esteem then you seem to have. I'd hate for her to grow up thinking that's the way a man is supposed to treat a woman. And that a woman is supposed to put up with it.

@toniirion5225 You make some valid points about recognizing red flags early and the importance of self-esteem in relationships. It’s true that ignoring warning signs can lead to bigger issues down the line, and it’s a lesson many people have to learn the hard way. Hopefully, her experiences will serve as a cautionary tale for others, including her daughter, about setting boundaries and knowing their worth. Growth often comes from tough situations, and I hope she finds the strength to move forward in a way that empowers her and sets a positive example. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Good grief... OP is colorblind to the color red and green... 🙄
Omg... how clueless can one be? The mother of ALL Red Flags was practically twirking in her face, and she still ignored it!

@therarestphoenix5254 Haha, your comment definitely made me laugh! It's true-sometimes the red flags are so obvious they might as well be flashing neon signs, yet people still miss them. Hopefully, OP has learned a tough but valuable lesson about recognizing those 'twerking' red flags before it's too late.

This story is so annoying. If the author is human, she sounds like an insufferable woman who did everything for Her Speshul Day, ignoring red flags.
