Where can i get the photos and measurments for that tool? my father is a welder and i own a bike shop, so i can make one easily but you would greatly save me some time working out the kinks if i was able to copy your design
That's awesome! I built my machine for my bicycle shop in Brazil and now I can remove easily stuck seatpost. I could do it looking your videos. Thank you 🙏
Satisfying! Do you never add any lubrication as the post is pulled out? How have you anchored the frame so that it isn't damaged - especially a carbon frame?
Ditto for me on this comment. I was surprised not to see any lubricant or pentrating oil to help ease the friction between the carbon frame and seat post.
Hi, thanks for watching. Typically when the seatpost is so seized that the customer needs to bring it to us any lubrication is futile as the post is in far too tight for it to make any difference, the forces needed to remove are very high. The frame is anchored through a bottom bracket that we install first.
I’d like pictures and measurements please,I’ve got a friend who’s place of work could make this for me. Great sounds, was like a techno track starting slow to fast 🎉 Have you had to pull any D shaped post like on some of the giant road bikes? Atb John 🏴
I'd try that on a stuck seatpost I'd find on an old bike. My neighbor and I will work together, using sprays, a pipe wrench, rubber mallet, and a cheater bar. Wish me luck.
@@Thecrazyvaclav previous video ruclips.net/video/s1hE3ObfGA0/видео.html has shown a little bit. Ok. So, anchoring at the bottom bracket ??.. Why not at the top of seat tube?..
@@ka81alex How would you secure it at seattube? If you use a clamp, you're clamping onto the post which you are trying to free. RJ Bikeguy has a seat puller on his channel which I imagine is similar to the one here.

Hi, will see what I can do in the near future

Interesting video I’ve never had a seized post and don’t grease mine but regularly clean it
That’s always fun with proper tools. Cheers.
Very true
Brilliant mechanism!
Thank you
Any way of preventing the seat post wedging in the first place?
Plenty of anti seize paste
Was the dropper salvaged?
Yes it was, what a good do

Hi, Thanks for watching and your comment, never tried a d shaped post, could be tricky that one, I will do some drawings and measurements soon
It’s a brilliant tool
I only wonder why would one install too big diameter on frame?
Hi, Thanks for watching and your comment
An engineering drawing would be good, you could sell them easy enough..
I will make some enquiries about getting one done.
Another great and satisfying removal…well done again! Looking forward to the next one👍🏻😃

Hi, thanks for watching and your comments
*thumbs up emoji :D
Thanks
And no view of anchoring the frame?.. nice..
That's the most and only important/interesting moment in whole that situation, and you didn't show it..
He’s showed all that in previous videos

Hi, Thanks for watching, in a previous video I explain more, take a look here, ruclips.net/video/VYlxHXh4LJY/видео.html
Reminder to periodically remove your seatpost to clean and regrease it
