      it’s definitely a lot. i will say when you get a haircare routine down tho it’s pretty quick. like my showers are literally like 5 minutes lol. i would definitely suggest adding in little steps over time and not doing a whole bunch at once bc it’s very overwhelming and if i did that I would have stopped after like 3 days. i’ve built this routine to what it is now over the last like 4 years and it wasn’t over night🤍🫶🏻

    Your hair needs the right product for your hair pattern and it won't be crazy frizzy. Curls always have at least a tiny of frizz!!! BUT!!!! If you add a holding product in, your hair won't be poofy and it'll bring out your pattern WAY more!!!! Would love to see you watch some good hair tutorials and try out a good curly girl routine! I have 3A curls myself but it took some time for my hair pattern to really come out! My hair looked like yours, so you could even have curls! It would be fun to see you explore what your type is and see a wavy/curly hair transformation!

    • @savannahcoleman5672
      @savannahcoleman5672 6 месяцев назад +4

      I have hair like her and maybe just unlucky but I tried two types of hold and it ended up frizzy each time. I think it is 2a which is really classified as almost straight and salon stylist articles I have seen recommend what she said which is mostly treat it as straight unless you really want to put in the time.

    • @yyuukiko
      @yyuukiko 28 дней назад

      I have her exact wave type, but realised I prefer the look/maintenance of slightly wavy/mostly straight hair. I would argue 2As can go both ways and I think they're both beautiful (though committing to one is pretty important, mainly to avoid frizz). I personally gave up the curly girl method after 2-3 months when it started causing me back/neck pain. I absolutely hated the scrunching and plopping, and I couldn't find a better solution that gave me the same results.

Your hair type is wavy but if you use some curly products and you just leave them when your hair is wet like foam for curly hair or gel something like that your hair will look amazing. You don’t have to dry them just leave your hair with the product. It’s a nice opportunity right now because summer is coming so you know.

    Kaylie could you do a nail care video? also would it be possible if you could teach us how to apply press ons and how to take them off with minimal damage? i'm so scared of getting nail fungus because some of the water gets trapped under the press on because i keep washing my hands throughout the day :(

    You should try whipping your hair back and forth when it’s wet instead of using the detangling brush it’s better for your scalp and no breakage

    Omg girl this was the exacttt video I’ve needed! I’ve been struggling with trying to care for my hair while being an avid gym goer. Also I’m low key the same way I can’t French braid to save my life but I can Dutch braid haha

    9:22 this is so real 😭 i have wavy 2a / 2b hair on my front parts, and they just won’t listen and last! When they’re damp i can see their waves AND sometimes even when i do a straight hair routine.

    Hi Kayli! This is so useful as I don't wash my hair every day despite going to the gym, and my hair gets GROSS! I'm from the UK, and unfortunately, the Raw Sugar hair rinse is not available over here (in Europe anywhere). I was wondering if you knew of an alternative? Does a normal Apple Cider vinegar hair rinse work just as well? Thank you 🙏😅
