I invited @cjya to a custom moon race not long ago and it was incredibly close. So close that we're back for round 2! The catch is, we may have accidentally spoiled some moons in the last race. This made for a funny and very chaotic session, so I hope you enjoy!

But not many have done challenges like this. They probably would do better than most, but people like Smant and Fir would have a chance.

@@FTAmonkeman idk, it depends on the measurement of things. i remember even Tyrone struggling in some of the challenges against these guys. when it comes to "pro player of strange SMO challenges" the whole hide and seek troupe probably has the top.
37:03 I find it funny that they don't bother to reset the date on their Switch after their challenges. So now CJ got that moon on June 11, 2025, and Fir got it on September 24, 2026. We're watching a video from the future! Lol
ever since i got animal crossing wild world on the DS ive never fixed the date on my nintendo consoles, you get no actual benefit cause noone uses it as a calendar and it can mess up all their games that actually go off the clock if you keep rewinding instead of only going forward lol

28:54 - "A reward that this Earth is rotating." I assume that they're talking about a moon being the reward, but then they should've said "revolving" instead, though it's rendered moot by the fact that the Earth doesn't revolve around the Moon. 🤨
They use ambiguous grammar that can be interpreted to either claim that the Moon revolves around the Earth, or the other way around. The scientifically more dubious conclusion that the Earth revolves around the Moon is the more natural way to read it, but it can be parsed to mean what they were going for. It's not good writing, but you can see what they were going for. Some commas would have helped.

It's that the earth is making the moon rotate. I think.
I mean, the earth and the moon both revolve around a point that is inside the earth. neither necessarily revolve around the other, but around a mutually shared point. it just so happens that the earth is so massive compared to the moon that that point is inside the earth, but not at the earth's centre of mass.

A note for the editor, it would be nice if you showed the score in between rounds in future videos like this. I kinda just had to trust what they were saying about the rankings until the very end

They didnt know what the final score was either until fir counted it (or amethyst did and sent it to him at the end). They do that on purpose so that either you can count yourself if you want to, or you can just go on vibes and leave it as a surprise until the end. I mean, the final moon wouldve been alot more anticlimactic if we knew for a fact that cj was already down by 5 lol
idk I prefer no score as well to keep the suspense
Idk, I think suspense can absolutely still be added in other ways that don't leave you wondering exactly how suspenseful it actually is the whole video.
Maybe the last round is worth 3 points, or maybe when one person is really behind, they make it so whoever wins 2 out of the last 3 rounds wins. Ideas like those have worked to add suspense in so many other videos, why not here?

The grammar is ambiguous in a way that you could interpret it as saying that the Earth revolves around the Moon, or that the Moon revolves around the Earth. The first interpretation is more natural grammatically, while the second interpretation is actually true to what we know about the Moon. It's a confusing sentence to parse even when you aren't trying to solve a puzzle.

The return of Mr. Cappington XVII and his pet Pokio Cupcake from like the earliest batch of custom moon hint art made me irrationally happy.
Its so funny seeing 2 out of the 3 GOATS (Smallant and Cjya) makes/sings songs which end up bamgers amd then the other GOAT (Fir) only listens to their songs in 2025, 4-5 yrs after their released and hasnt made a song. Lol

Honestly wasn’t expecting the second one to be included in the first place but it did stump them a lot so I guess I’ve got that going for me.
The Fortnite hint art was great. I remember that specific one, Smant did have the Fortnite hat, that was the round when Smant and Fir gaslit the heck out of Crafty and Mars, it was hilarious.

A moon that has you go to Cap Kingdom, Find a painting that leads you to casscade high up with no checkpoint, and just go through each kingdom, having to find paintings, but its High above each kingdom, so if you Fall, its ALL the way back to Cap kingdom
