I think it goes beyond just having ranked PvP. There needs to be another PvP mode with individual street races.
yeah, they also need to utilise the map more, because there are so many roads that would be fun in pvp that they don't use :/

yeah, they already have car categories like "street 2 - japan" or "street 1 - classic" "racing - europe" that they use in summit events, so seeing pvp races with those types of categories would be really nice

Really true....I've gone from playing it daily to once every week or two.
Same I hop on every Tuesday get platinum in summit and never touch it again. If we had car meets or could actually drive around with randoms without them disappearing it would be better.
Same as me. The horrendous in game cost of summit bundles is outrageous, takes all your winnings before you’ve even customised the bundle vehicles.
I sussed out that unless you play every day, which mature people with an actual life do not do, you can’t keep up with getting funds from racing & entering into events, & then the Wednesday Summit bundle is presented to you for just under a million in game credits.
When it should be no more than £30,000 for a bundle.

Ubisoft is at an all-time low right now. They shut down The Crew 1, they started removing copies of the game from the library of players, they released the terrible Skull and Bones game, they announced Star Wars Outlaws with terrible character models. They might as well shut down.

I knew this situation of staleness will occur sooner or later so I still haven't finished all the playlist (completed 11 so far)....just doing 1 playlist per month along with summits and parts/money/xp grind (I don't play GR or DR) as I don't have the energy or focus after work. We might be walking the Forza route where we will have infinite cars but nowhere specific to use them😥😥
-add single-class races
-add a cruise mode where you get joined into a crew and directed to a few races before asking if you'd like to disband or continue
-it's an arcade game; just buff useless cars to have more balanced stats with the current meta until the variety opens up
-stop selling hypercars in bundles that force you to buy both or neither for a week straight

There are so many obvious and seemingly easy additions to the game, such as online playlist races going down the same route as heat or unbound that you could start and it would send out and invitation to the lobby and you could race other players, expand the map and use islands, more customisation on the cars like why can i not have white wheels?!?, something to do with extra legend points and extra scrap parts ect ect ect
Maybe they could try doing mini championships? With a decent cash reward ? Like rally, drift, street racing and drag? You complete with the same player back to back on different disciplines?

I actually think you nailed this video but missed a bigger frustration, because all they do is add new cars the grind gets worse and is more exaggerated because they will be so darn expensive! I also think the island feels so dull they filled it with the findables but feels like a real missed opportunity considering how stunning this game is, e.g. an escape but the volcano is erupting or there is a slalom but going through a city parade just something to make it all feel more alive?

Would be great if they could make a motorsport style PvP race, 5-6 laps, tyre wear, would be interesting to see what cars are better when the grip falls away.
Would absolutely love some more PvP modes akin to what forza has with playground games or hell what even the crew 1 had.
I think the real issue is why can’t we do some of the story races with friends and offer the challenge out to everyone in the lobby until it’s full. More like nfs heat. I’ve never understood this when it comes to crew games. Especially because the connection is so bad if you try to enter story races with just one other person in your crew it almost always fails to put you in the race together. There needs to be smaller races that we can do together too so it stays fresh. Otherwise what’s the point? They also need to add the other islands in a dlc so the map doesn’t feel as repetitive. Idk there are some things lacking in the crew
I like to hop on the game after work everyday, just to do grand racing, summits and trying to collect the cars I’m missing. I go back to The Crew 2 to do the same things, mostly summits and collecting cars.
Honestly if there is not a new pvp mode or significant addition to the map on the next major update or at the very least after 1 year im actually going to be very worried for the future of the game

I wish we can transfer the cars that are new to motorfest to The Crew 2 that way I can cruise around The Crew 2 map with Bolide, Essenza, Utopia and other new motorfest cars that didn’t appear on TC2
For sure. The way they setup the import deal, I buy all my cars in Crew2. I find myself logging into Crew2 way more.

despite the fact i hate Ubisoft for deleting the Crew 1 i have to.admit IVT took care of that for the Crew 2 in terms of Import your car and vanities into the next game. so if the Crew 2 will shutdown we have everything we paid for (atleast ingame)

I'd love to be able to play the Playlists with a group of people, like a grand race, but the whole themed playlist. And have the points be tallied up like in the AlphaGP playlist. That would be dope af. Because they playlists are a huge part of the game, IMO. But they become kinda useless after you've played them a couple of times.

GR needs to have ghosted players and then you would see who is really good vs all the bad players who simply are there to knock you out. Going from 1st to last because of some other player is ridiculous. TC2 at least the live is ghosted players allowing you to concentrate on your best race.
Hence why I made a 1v1 list league for every platform on discord and try and organise team scrimmages every week for my boys.

The game is getting boring from time to time, I only play Motorfest for the summits and racing in the grand race with my friends. They should add classic single class pvp mode like we got in Crew 2, just 8 player lobbies, with ranked system, and racing in some certain tracks from the playlist with collisions off, and they better add custom/private lobbies for those pvp mode too

Yup ive seen grand racees struggle to hit 28. Will die very soon if they dont do something about pvp. More cars is great tho
If they bring back a revamped TC2 map, I'll be back to this game in a heartbeat. I just want to cruise, explore and jam to the radio. This place is far too cramped and poorly utilized compared to the excellent custom race maker and map of TC2. Also where the fudge is the 8/8 mode yet!? How is TC2 beating you on this.
Night time races with Six player would be fun. PvP drag races PvP drift races PvP cops and Robbers. Th game has soo much potential but they are wasting it. The class system should be abolished and we should be able to do proper engine swaps like NFS heat that would be cool.

Introducing a ranking system will not help keep most of the players playing more of the time ,
The only players this would benefit are the players who are really good at the game that will end up in the ''Top'' ranking groups as they will get the ''top'' ranking prizes there for I think the less talented racers who aint in these ''top'' classes of races and only play the game once or twice a week are gonna feel even less to play more like myself,
I'm not in the elletist class of racers by a long, long way or even close and know I would be pissed off paying the amount of money as everybody else for this game but being basically punished because I can't do races or events as fast as other players,
what about if I have a disability which can affect my times (like Carpal Tunnel syndrome) its something in the wrists which affects the grip and strength?
Yes the game isn't the great game we all wanted and needs something added but making it better for just some of you who are the minority of total racers ain't the answer in my opinion,
I only play when there’s a new update or summit car now. Even the summit has repeatedly reused the same events over and over. This game is already stale.
After the playlists, there’s nothing else besides two PvP modes I don’t care about. New playlists add like an hour every 3 months. It needs more multiplayer modes.
This is 100% accurate. This game has gotten so boring with almost the same events since launch. Barley any rally and rally raid events and all the events feel the same. TC2 had personality to each car disipline. This game is just stale. Still the same small map with only a few new one time races. Summits arent worth the time with the useless rewards and theirs literally nothing else to do. I only came back to grind scene 4 since I value my time and won't grind unless its 30K XP and 50K Bucks every 100 seconds. Honestly a year in and TC2 is still much better.

This is what happens when you literally get payed to play the game. You and other streamers play the game more than anyone. Yes they need improvements but getting bored w something you dump this much time into is common.
What about night races and new tracks in grand race? A new upgradet Car Meet? Ive over 60 Milion, idk what to do with that. Give us Just something new, the game gets really boring…
