I was skeptical but the more I looked into his offense and realized how his hands were tied at BYU (as far as recruiting among other things) i came to the conclusion that he's actually up there with Hurley and Oats as far as being an innovator. That offense is so hard to guard and team basketball to the max utilizing zoom action off of screens while multiple openings. They had a great first season in the Big XII with being limited in recruiting. Mark Pope was a Rhodes Scholar candidate and attended medical school at COLUMBIA. He will end up in the G league for a couple of years.
