Great video I just ordered basically the same kit from suspension connection I like your installation some videos show people taking off the spring and bottom bolt of the shock hopefully I wont have to do that.

I was looking forward to seeing you air them up. I would think there would a splitter on the air line so they would air up at the same time like the old air shocks we use to run on our old hot rods.

I am going to install a tee in the future. They are the best thing I have installed on a truck! I would recommend them to any one that haul's.

Hello, thank you for the video, very helpfull, i was wondering if you know what the weight capacity on that kit is? And is it an USA made product? Thanks again !!

I don't. I think there could be a difference from a 1/2 ton truck to a 1 ton. They are assembled in the US.

I sold the truck a week ago. I would highly recommend air bags and the Firestone brand. You do need to keep about 5psi in them when not hauling so the bag doesn't crease. When hauling with and with out the difference is huge.

Looks like it’s been on the truck for a while any follow up for leaks my experience with air shocks and air systems is constant leaking
Always a problem you air up and the next morning you’re down or low on pressure spray everything with soapy water still a mystery as to how the system loses air thanks for a follow up

So far so good! I forgot to lower the pressure last time we came back from camping, so the pressure was at 20 psi for 3 weeks and when I lowered the pressure it was still at 20 psi. I think there is a huge difference in quality with the Firestone.

How often did you have to air up the bags? Or did you have to deflate them when not in use?

It's best to keep some air in them. When I'm not hauling I keep them around 10psi.

Install the top bolts first. It works better.

I have a 2014 ram Laramie and the ai lift is junk is there a better air suspension set up for it? I'm pretty sure I just need a better compressor, module and air hose valve. Thank you in advance.

The Firestone is rated as the best because of the thickness of the bags. I would look that direction.

Can a Curt 5th wheel hitch be fitted with this air system in place ?

These are fitted below the frame, so it should fit.

Should have put in a tee an use 1air valve

I was going to do that. But then I thought about it, if I load something heavy on one side ( blocks, concrete, water jugs etc..) I don't want the air bag on the heavy side to compress and the light side to inflate.

You could use a set of one-way valves to fill both air bags from one inlet, and a second set of one-way valves leading to an exhaust valve guaranteeing equal pressure in both air bags if you cycle the pressure often (probably not worth it for most people but it would be fun to build), the other even more precise way would be to have an air compressor/tank leading to a leveling valve for each side of the axle, which would guarantee levelness to the road surface.
