What do you mean the l76 doesnt like boost? The bottom end STOCK handles 700 easily an its VERY popular to throw an LSA blower on it and make those numbers to the wheel,the L76 also doesnt have vvt just dod. DOD is part of the valvetrain so doing a cam an lifters deletes the DOD but you will have to tune it out.
Yup great engine idk why say not meant for boost ok I guess there never wanted it be boosted from gm but it’s been done time after time he’ll the ls2 will hold it the weak point is after you modify the motor is the trans they don’t hold very well when motor is modified unless is built great cars though super reliable not bad on gas either but the gxp has ls3 so I’m sure that won’t be as great on gas as g8 gt sound amazing after you put headers n exhaust n cam whole new car after that night n day difference but this my daily so not trying go too crazzy with it right now lol
The way I see it you have two good routes for modding a G8. The Boosted route: DoD delete, PDS cam, LSA blower, headers, catback, intake, 3.27 rear diff swap Or An NA setup: DoD delete, stage 2 or 3 can, headers, catback, intake, ported heads, ported intake manifold, ported throttle body, 3.45 rear diff swap

When will you rediscuss the 6.0 powerstroke I know you mess up on that engine I own one. Headstud egr delete and heads an turbo get 600 or more. But you need injectors lift pump and a few more upgrades but let me know if you want a real build break down

Shit, a bad tune or tuner can mess any of these builds up. Personally, I couldn't take your advisory like that as if it's gospel. Too many variables in play with a person car's intended use. Headers, cam and a LSA blower. No need to touch the bottom end. Tune it right you’ll have a save 500hp combo for like $5-6k

L76 can handle some boost but it never hurts to do rods pistons etc*
That set up with the 7875 on 3 turbo kit and like a 150 shot to spool the turbo and you got a real problem on your hands
