How does she not break is more impressive. She switches to her Aussie/Kiwi accent mix sometimes in interviews and it blows my mind. Like a different person.

And the English accent is just more pronounced and easier to parody.
US accents, I feel like you know working class accents, but soon as you get past about middle class, dp you reslly have posh or upper class accents anymore? Idk, it is kinda similar in Scotland. Some people *choose* how they sound. Some people try sounding like a cut above the rest of us, others try and speak with broad slang, because the country is so small, a fancy neighborhood is always right next door to a really eun down and rougher one. So we all are more or less forced to mix.
Idk if I'm rambling but I'm sure you can bridge the gap.

I can't hate this. If you're going to go ham, go whole hog! At least she's fully committed to the gimmick at all times and doesn't _nudge-nudge, wink-wink_ and break character every ten seconds. I'd rather watch two hours of Toni Storm than twenty seconds of Mercedes Moné.
As long as she doesn't try to get a half-decent match out of Saraya again, that is. Because that was an awful exercise in futility. Apparently, nobody can pull that off in 2024.

I believe Hansen has a Japanese wife, so she would have probably been in Japan when Toni imagines the affair to have occurred. Hansen's not Jimmy Savile or Grizzly Smith, so I'm pretty sure it didn't actually happen. While I'm far from a fan of Toni (as a wrestler or as a character), I have to give her credit for fantasizing about the Unsinkable Battleship.
So now that it is out that Uncle Dave owns 3% of AEW that sure makes his insane coverage of them just hit so much more clearly don't it.
Can't wait for this rant coming soon lol.

7:15 There are niche audiences everywhere nowadays, for all things cultural and historical. However, I would say historical "Turner Classic Movies" cultural references and understanding is more prevalent in Asia than it was 10-15 years ago when it was just MCU and Transformers. Even the late 90s and early 2000s culture has popped up now as fashion is repeating itself, and K-Pop / K-Movie groups have taken a lot of that and repackaged it to a younger and broader demographic in Asia.
Toni Storm is so committed to the bit. I miss her over here. She was almost good enough to balance out Mercedes promos. No one is that good.

@@pavlovsdogmantbf, most of what AEW does indeed suck. They might have decent workers, but that doesn't mean a damn thing when the booking sucks. Just look at the likes of Ethan Page. A very good worker who AEW didn't know what to do with, goes to WWE and is booked strongly in NXT.

Tony Khan is a dreadful booker.
