- Gotta fight Dark Yojimbo 5 times!! The coolest boss to farm for 99 Dark Matters, Break HP Limit + Ribbon Armor with 2 extra empty slots, and or Break Damage Limit Weapon with 3 extra slots.
Boss: Dark Yojimbo (Overkill)
HP: 1,600,000 (99,999)
AP: 8,000 (10,000)
Drop: Dark Matter (x2) or Master Sphere (x2)
Weapon Drop: Break Damage Limit, Counter-Attack, Magic Counter, Overdrive AP.
Armor Drop: Break HP Limit, Ribbon, Curseproof.

@@RenlinkMorales That’s a different summoner. There were multiple NPCs with this character's model during Yuna and Seymour's "marriage", so this is repeatable/reusable model for multiple different NPCs and not unique.
I'd like to think this is the guy that stole the Fayth from Yojimbo's temple. And as a way to ensure that they were worth his strength/aid they had to be tested. Especially since the premise of keeping him there was to ensure no one had his power

Ah, that awful blinking effect from the luck factor ^^ But very effective. Must be the cleanest run on RUclips. If only his overdrive meter would carry over to each battle, you would at least have to think a bit to manage him.
There's no managing that. If his gauge fills, you break out an Aeon to take the Zanmato or he WILL game over your ass. Dark Zanmato dispels Auto-Life, see.
That's not fair.. his aeon falls and he summons him again.. why Yuna can't to the same? :O

I started slowly, don't max out Accuracy. But go up to at least 150+ so at least you can aim/attack. For Agility, I only removed all Agi from Sphere Grid to replace with +4 and added a few until Rikku hit her most which is 184. Then If you can kill anything, I started maxing out Luck to 255. I didn't level up their Evasion since that wasted my time as I was aiming for Luck and 99,999 HP.

And double check online for Characters stats from lowest to highest at the start. Like I know Rikku has the most Agi, Auron has more Str, Lulu Eva, etc. :)
The grinding process is the fun part. It's been 3 years since I was doing what they are in the video. I started a new game 2 weeks ago and I'm grinding to max stats
I can totally see that Luck maxed at 255. every hit a critical.
how do you farm for fortune spheres and luck spheres? earth eater and greater sphere in the monster arena ? is that the fastest way?

@@darknight3050 if playing with the standard sphere grid without cleaning up other slots, it like 55 of them required to have the 255 luck stat in every character
For luck 230 plus 60 evasion enough for the dark aeons and penace 255 luck is good but not needed unless you want to.
I remember this as the most difficult battle of all because I wanted to defeat him earlier in the game, so paid my Yojinbo an insane amount of money to kill the dark one
I believed is that he was farming his Sphere Grid, and obtaining one of those powerful weapons, I see.
i remember taking hours to beat this cuz my damage was like 9999 on some characters still and only like 50k max hits from aeons which i had to use to absorb zanmato
How do you grind with this fight? Skip one of the 5, leave and come back and it resets?
Don't do the five battles. You can do four, save (you can save between the battles) and exit to the menu or go to blitzball, then load your save or go back from the blitzball menu. The counter will reset to zero and you can do the four battles again. You can do this as many times as you want.
how are you able to get him to nod and accept defeat when every time I beat him he just shakes his head no then dashes off if I'm missing something to get him to do the whole cat and mouse thing again I'd like to know
You must defeat him 5 times
@Alan-cm7ye and how do I get him to reappear for 2nd - 5th time since after I get to the entrance fight, he won't reappear for another fight
What armors do you equip?
I have Sanctuary on Tidus from Zanmato for 200 gil on dark Anima and it has Auto-haste,Ribbon,and can’t remember the last one and I haven’t put nothing in the fourth slot yet

How is it possible to get max health? Your grid must be mostly HP nodes.

Another moron who doesn't understand this game. Its quite easy to get 255stats/99999hp on the sphere grid. I did it on the original version, i doubt the remastered version is any different.
It did take 100hours but it was really easy.
You'll notice this guy took 191 hours. Just because you suck ass at games and have to use hacks doesn't mean the players better than you do.
Airi Akizuki sassy but otherwise wrong I don't hack games I don't believe in it. Regardless of how easy it is to grind this guy is making a tutorial video to show you something. Why would he put 100+ hours into doing it legit for a single RUclips video when he could just load up some hacks get to where he wanted to be and do the video right away. Nothing about being a hard-core gamer just makes sense in a RUclips production schedule.

nekogod lol it makes sense that he hacked everything in then done a bunch of videos with it. If you done it legit you'd have blemishes and marks. Like if you know the game to beat stuff and grind damage yeah go e but you wouldn't have like max of every single item. You'd just rush ahead and get what you needed. It's not a issue or a criticism but to show you stuff for his videos he's just hacked the progress lol

its a shame that the whole game is so much fun, and the battles are stragetic and interesting until you get to end game. Then after grinding endlessly for stats you just spam "QUICK HIT" over and over, BORING.
that’s so true. i maxed my luck (which was very painstaking) and all my stats and i enjoyed the rush of being able to smack around dark yojimbo but after a few weeks i got bored of it real quick

@@anthonydtx7469 The best way would be to get your character strong enough to kill this Spherimorph creature in the monster Arena. That creature will drop luck spheres.

Is it true? You can fight Yojimbo more than 5 times? I heard that somewhere and would like to know if this is true. So I can plan to farm my armor with Ribbon and Break HP Limit.
Yes as long as you don't beat him the 5th time, it resets every time you leave or load.

Dark Yojimbo Zanmato always deal 99999 damage + remove positive status effects, including Auto-Life.

Customize your armor with 30 Wings To Discovery to get Break HP Limit to make your HP become 99999, but you need farms some lot HP Spheres by defeating Ironclad in Species Conquest.

He must not have known you can manipulate Yojimbo into using Zanmato for less than 100k gil... and that FFX has a fixed RNG.
It's not just RNG, there are a lot of calc in the "choice" of his attacks. You can manipulate the best chance for zanmato for a pretty good price

This video is the perfect evidence to shut up "bhpl is bad" idiots who are just lazy, settle for second best, then proclaim its the best while taking 10 mins to beat DY. 45 second fight with BHPL and you dont even need protect or cheer or hyper mighty g for that matter, and can just let him ambush you and take a 20k wakizashiI watched netflix while spamming x on this boss to farm for ribbons and never died once 😂. He dropped me loads of bhpl+ribbon so i made some custom BDL instead on characters i sucked at their CW quests :)
Rikku is a monster in this game. Ultra potion and final phoenix heal/revive 99999hp so thats more evidence against the "hp bloat" whiners 😂 and you can just entrust to her meaning she almost always has an overdrive when you need it
BHPL is not bad or something...its just unnecessary at least to me,i've beat all bosses and encouters of this game and never had serious hp problems,i would customize it on some armors though anyway cause i always wanted to have all kinds of pieces but never really used the bhpl...you also have no need to open HP slots on the sphere grid and thus have less monsters to farm...
@@skasere1 lots of things are "unnessecary" in the game. The more of these things you do the easier the game becomes though. Lvl 99 unneccesary, Sphere grid isnt necessary, aeons unnessecary, overdrives unneccesary, customization unneccesary, items unnccesary, CW unneccesary etc etc

@Ze TheGame or, if u want challenge without leaving ffx, you can try No Sphere Grid and stuff like that. Personally, I like to be as strong and op as possible, so all in on bhpl. No bhpl feels like something halfway done.
Zanmato > max stats; plain and simple. Nobody can do 16 zanmatos in a row like myself.
