The hell breaks loose on the Magnificent Century!
As Hatice is determined to kill Hurrem, Suleiman keeps her responsible about the incident. Everyone feels sorry for what it's decided about Hatice. It's attempted to assassinate Suleiman as he prepares for the campaign. As Malkocoglu prevented this, he takes upon a new duty.
Prince Mustafa learns that he won't be taking part in the campaign. Mustafa gets really upset about this and verges upon making a vital decision.
Suleiman sets off for the campaign. The message Hurrem receives during Suleiman's absence turns everything upside down in the palace.
Diana who Hatice has sent to the palace to kill Hurrem fails. However, she regains Hurrem's appreciation. Hurrem tells everything to Suleiman without losing time. Suleiman lears that Hatice has a finger in the incident and makes a decision about her.
A knight arrives in Istanbul and attempts to assassinate Suleiman with the Pope's order. Malkocoglu saves Suleiman just in time. Suleiman charges him on another duty. While some don't like it, Mihrimah gets really pleased about it.
In Manisa, Prince Mustafa receives the message that he won't take part in the campaign. Mustafa gets disappointed and thinks that Hurrem has a finger in it. Sultana Hatice pushes Prince Mustafa for him to take an action.
When Suleiman goes to Italy Campaign with his princes Mehmet and Selim, Hurrem is left alone in the palace. She takes security measures but she gets hit by someone she didn't expect. She gets terrified by a message she receives in the palace.
How did Hurrem survive the attack? What is the decision about Hatice? What is the message terrifies Hurrem? What will Mustafa do since who isn't taken to the campaign?
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

She goes crazy when she sees Suleiman showing interest in other concubines, she wanted to die when two concubines were a gift to Suleiman, she gave him an ultimatum either they go or her dead body leaves the Palace.
Ibrahim's execution was one of the worst forms of betrayal from a brother to a sister. Hatice should mourning quite rightly so.
Suleiman favours Hurrem's children over Mustafa too, he gave Hurrem too much power.
It was the other sultans who were unfair to hurrem from day one. Mahidevran was once in hurrems place, they beat her, burnt her, done everything under the sun to her, yet the forget that. Hurrum even tried been friendly to ibrahim too, it was him who was unfair aswell
I don’t understand how can hurrem be responsible for who is going to the campaign. If they had stopped blaming hurrem for everything and accept that suleyman is the king and accept his decision many things wouldn’t have happened the way it happened. It’s mahedevran and sultan sisters mistake who misguide mustafa. Mahedevran should’ve told mustafa that accept your father decision
Foolish women
Many of us should learn from hurrem how to raise kids. She never told her kids how she was tortured. Even when mihirima interfered with hatice, she asked her to go back to chamber. She always told her kids that Sultan is supreme, you should respect him. Mahidevran is just opposite. Only telling Mustafa to be a sultan.
You know what..the easiest thing in the world is to complain..so did they.Instead of complaining, if they accepted his grace's orders & tried to improve themselves CONSTANTLY, it would be better.
Gosh, I have utmost respect for Mustafa, but it's unfortunate that he picked up his mother's bad trait that says " let's blame Hurrem for all our misfortunes". As if Hurrem makes decisions on who joins a campaign and who does not. That unfortunate trait was his downfall. How do u protect yourself from a threat when you're so narrow-minded?
Hurrem has a huge influence over Suleiman, she never wanted Mehmet to leave to another province.
Hurrem tried to kill Mustafa numerous times, she even sent a spy over to manisa to kill Mustafa, what do you expect? him to bend over backwards with excitement and kiss Hurrem's hands? The fact that he's still so nice to Hurrem's kids is simply amazing, others would've cut ties and be suspicious of them too. The fact that he never tried to hurt Hurrem after falling victim to her evil plots is commendable.
The one thing I don't like is hurrem and mihrima bowing down to these sisters of Suleiman. I think they both are in upper position than these sisters. Hurrem is a free woman and wife of king, shes queen , she should have power as much as king do. And mihrima is king's daughter, she's present princess, everyone should bow down to her. This bowing down has become clumsy and messy.
Also the dressing sense of everyone has changed, earlier episodes all women used to wear dresses showing cleavage later they wore hijab over dress. Now its fully modest.
I like that u pointed this! And yes in the early episode where Chihangir haven't born yet, Hurrem usted to keep her hair down and with rarely some jewelry. She rarely use and headpiece and sometimes her neckline is just bare while Mahidevran was already glamorous! This is the third time I watched this series and I always thought that Mahidevran was the first queen (like the late Valide sultan) when actually she is just started as a concubine same as Hurrem
It’s just for the show. In real life, it was said that after suleiman married hurrem, she never bowed down infront of anyone except suleiman. And suleiman never accepted any concubine after his marriage with hurrem. So, this show is basically 60% fictional.
Gulfem hatun came to hurrems chamber blaming hurrem for sending hatice to manisa and even saying hatice is innocent😂😂 when shes also know that agenda and also shes with hatice when they planned it so funny gulfem😂😂
Never thought in the beginning that gulfem will be so biased against hurrem. It feels like she was also jealous of not being Sultan's favourite.

I always disliked bayezid, he always played the victim even in his last days. And no one noticed selim. That's how he became a drunk. If it wasn't for nurbanu...selim wouldn't have made it to sultan.
Quick history, did you know after selim became sultan he ruled for 8 years and actually died from a freak accident. He slipped on marble floor and hit his head. After he passed nurbanu put him in a box full of ice to preserve his body until his son murad lll came from manisa to Istanbul. Nurbanu didn't tell anyone besides the grand vizir that the sultan had died it was 12 days late when murad arrived to Istanbul that every one learned about the death of the sultan selim lll.
He saw Selim for the person he is from the very beginning. Can we all admit, that he was the worst option to succeed his father of all the princes? Literally everyone would be a better option. Chiangir was only ruled out because of his health problems.
Wonder why they make Rustem so creepy. He might as well be named Rasputin.

What about Hurrem when she was going to die from poisoning herself after she lost the bet with firuze. How selfish was that? Suleiman wasn't murdered, he was still alive, just that he was never that interested in Hurrem. She always got rid of all the concubines Suleiman took a liking to. She forgets that she herself was a concubine that stole Suleiman from Mahidevran.
Hatice didn't try to commit suicide when she discovered Ibrahim's affair with Nigar, unlike Hurrem threatened Suleiman that her death body will leave the Palace if the two concubines that were a gift to Suleiman weren't sent away.
She doesn't seem to think about her children when she sees Suleiman loses interest in her.
Hubsn Sah is right,they just made Hurrem more powerful,because they were impatient,pffff stupid Hatice and Mahidevran. I am just sorry that Mustafa paid the price for stuppid Mahidevran's obssesion with Hurrem.

Hatice was married young...he died. Then her baby died when she accidentally smothered it in bed....her mother (queen mother)...the affair and the baby Ibrahim had.......then Ibrahim himself. She was always the "fragile" one.....and she snapped. They say love is blind...but Hatice knew a lot of things Ibriham was doing was getting Sueliman upset and angry. If Sueliman would have just showed her the accounts of the meeting with the envoys...read what all Ibriham had said about how he ruled the sultan and told him what to do...and how it was he who ruled, made decessions etc. she might have understood better. But he didn't. Ibriham's death was of his own making through power and greed...believing himself above the law, any law including Suelimans.

ah, as much as i hate hurrem i love her scenes and relationship with her children. i wish we got to see more of meryem as hurrem with bayezid and selim because those were her true tests more than mihrimah and mehmet. absolutely loved how she made selim apologize and then pacified bayezid, hate to say it but she was good. i wish meryem had resumed her role in S4 where things worsen between her selim and bayezid. vahide perçan has done a fab job but no one can do it better than hurrem. maybe i just gotta rely on my imagination to see how meryem would've acted in those scenes :')
