Now I’m going to practice playing please please me on drums, and I found this video. I can’t play drums like you at all, but it’s very useful for me! Thank you!
Good going copping Ringo’s drumming. How is this video available and not blocked? Back in late 2015 my 160+ Beatles drum covers got blocked and have remained so.

Can I have a question, how did you uploaded this video without getting a copyright strike? I have just recorded a cover on the same song as you, but I don't know if I can just upload it on RUclips or not.
Has to be said that your level and technique is absolutely brilliant. And the cover is perfect!!! But to be honest, the fill in 1:00 is in some way different. I believe there's a ghost note being missed... It's weird, because as any may see, you have the level by far to replicate this fill the same way Ringo did.... Am I wrong?
@@SleazyNice No he never. Worth checking the Beatles Bible and the recordings of the Beatles by Mark Lewinsohn. Alan White only played on Love Me Do and the b-side PS I Love You. By the time of Please Please Me Ringo was the predominant drummer on the Beatles records .
Andy White recorded an early take of Please Please Me, but it wasn't publicly heard until the release of the Beatles Anthology in the 90's. The version that was released in 1963 features Ringo.
@@TimRDClarke Tim, do you have a link to that '63 version of the song with Ringo on the drums? Is the drum line the same? The stuff I read said that White was the drummer on the original recording. The style as it's played by Tanner in this video seems a lot different from Ringo's, don't you think? Another thing I've noticed is that the drums as played here have a lot in common with how Andrian Young (No Doubt) plays.
@@Marcos5pb Alan White also played on the b-side PS I Love You. By the time of recording Please Please Me, Ringo was the main drummer. Worth checking out the Beatles Bible or Mark Lewinsohn for confirmation.
Amazing how Ringo propelled the song with such a rich, cheerful groove. He truly was a genius.
What a beautiful drum part; it's such a fantastically structured song that I cannot imagine it without Ringo's beautiful playing. Great job!

Great recording,. Sounds awesome in head phones.
Simple, steady, nice use of the ride too. 👏🥁
You are amazing! You've got the drums on that song down pat! Best version I've heard & seen since Ringo himself. Wonderful stuff man!

Well played!! I actually have a cover of this song too as well as tons of videos extracting John Lennon's parts
Hello, Bongo!
How do you do that quick fill in the 'come on' part?
Very good a bit different with the drum roles but good
Esos platillos suenan genial, no a chatarra como otros.

Very good, but you need to put the most emphasis on the AND beat after 2, not just on 2. The AND beat after the 2 beat is much louder.
👏
Can i just ask you how long did it take you to learn it, its very good
mucho mejor que el propio Ringo
:-)
