Look for an upside down claw with some lateral growth rather than simply upwards like ryegrass. It has pointy tipped blades that narrow into a point at end. It is also more of a lime green as opposed to a dark green. Plus you can usually identify it in hot weather in uk as it goes yellow and dormant rather than staying green like other more drought tolerant plants like ryegrass .

Now that I have retired I want to do this myself and follow your procedures. I have already bought some of your Galactic Green but I guess I need to do the renovation first. My question. Yeah when its composted down and air is allowed to pass through it this kills any seeds, thats why when you build a compost heap you have wooden sides with gaps so the air can get in if you just have solid sides the weed seeds will survive
Hi Dan, now it’s been a while since the video and using this compost, how do you rate it? Better, worse or the same as Jacks Magic? (not factoring cost, just general what you think performs better). Thanks, Dean
