Why dividing by 2 to obtain pseudo range ?
coz signal has to go and come back ,hence the distance we get is twice of real .so we divide by 2

Sir wht is p-code in L-1 freq. used for?
For military and defence applications.
Planes Over Head that’s L2 (P-code) for ionospheric delay detection for accurate post fixing which is available only to US-DOD. But what is p-code In L-1 for?
Military users receive both L1 and L2 codes both of which contain the p-code!
Planes Over Head why is p-code in both the freq. why is it not just in 1st, why is the 2nd freq. involving p-code when L-1 already have p-code
L2 p code as you said to determine the ionospheric delays and everything which therefore improves even more accuracy which is required by the military users.
