Indonesian railways are always on time dude. There are even several higher classes than what you rode, like Priority, and Luxury. There are also some variants like Panoramic. Indonesian railways companies used to be fully state owned and they are doing business poorly. I think, back in 2011-2012, they even wanted to raise the prices without giving additional benefits, this triggers protests but also starts a revolution of this company to become better.
Come back again next year and try to take the bullet train from Jakarta to Bandung (my city), and yes here the trains are always on time. Have a nice journey ahead for both of you ❤
To use public transportation modes in Jakarta (BRT TransJakarta, MRT Jakarta, LRT, KRL Commuter Lines, MetroTrans / non BRT buses) you have to buy an e-Money card (at Indomaret or Alfamaret) or buy a card at the ticket counter at the KRL Cikini station. The e-Money card (Flazz ..etc) is more flexible because you can use the card to pay tolls, parking and even pay for shopping transactions at Indomaret and Alfamaret outlets or other supermarkets.

You actually don't need to printed out your tickets you can just do the online check-in and there's gonna be a QR code and just scan it straight from your phone very easy
Yes, we had to print out the tickets using the QR code which we got. The person who let us through at the entrance denied access if we didn’t go to the computer to print out the tickets 😊 it also says we had to do this in the application we used shown in the description of this video.
@@Chai_Travelthe staff should be fired, no need to print the ticket if you purchase online from KAI website or apps. Right now for Indonesians we even use facial recognition, no need scan whatsoever, just passing thru. Probably you purchased from 3rd parties e-commerce such as traveloka..
