"Linda" is the spanish word for pretty. So I suggest "Bonita" which is another spanish synonym for pretty. It also makes sense as they are Latin American species.

Hey Petko, millipedes are pretty specialized in their care (I believe you’ve had some in the past so I won’t be too specific). Deep, moist substrate is crucial, and must have edible components in it. You also cannot house them with anything that might attack and eat them while they are molting (this includes isopods). I trust you will do your research and I hope he is able to recover because he’s amazing! Someone else mentioned in the comments to use surgical glue to treat the crack- this works, but maybe talk to someone who has experience first-hand.

You can make it fit perfectly in the frame when you are standing at your desk filming. It will look brilliant.

I would sell you for the crack on your giant millipede shell. Or its carapace or exoskeleton.. you could take a little bit of surgical glue known as new skin and put it on the crack itself and that might help it heal. That way when it goes to shed it'll shut off in one piece. You could also contact somebody new is a lot about giant millipedes and ask them some questions on how to fix that issue with the crack in the exoskeleton. It is something to ask questions about. Cuz you do have an injury to this insect and it might need to be treated. I may I don't know if they're too many veterinarians deal with millipedes in your area. But you definitely could see if there's some way to close the crack or just seal it in a bit so it doesn't get infected. And the millipede doesn't get worse. But I would suggest just taking a little bit of new skin or surgical glue. And applying a small little. To it and then getting that closed up a bit. I don't know if it'll help don't know if it'll keep it from leaking. One never knows. But if you know somebody in your area that knows a lot about giant millipedes and how to heal a crack in the exoskeleton. It'd be worth asking them about it.

    Suggestion: Ferrera
When we think of Linda, we think of Lindor truffles. Not to mention, northern South America is known for producing cacao. So we thought the second one should be a chocolate-related name. Ferrera, in reference to the iconic Ferrero Rocher.

Their latin name solifugae means something along the lines of "fleeing from the sun", so you're totally right. But a day and night cycle with higher and lower temperatures could be beneficial. In a certain range of course. After all, even hiding under rocks in a desert will be a pretty warm way to spend your day. I'm thinking something like 30°C during the day time

I read on a forum that a Solfugids' lifespan benefits from nightly temperature drops, a restricted diet, and a hibernation period for the winter time. Solfugids rarely pass up food in captivity because food is scarce in their natural habitat and they will eat whatever is available. Many owners feed them regularly and keep them hot 24/7 which may be the reasons for their short lifespan in captivity.

I've been watching your videos for about 1 year and a half more or less and and about 2 months ago I decided to by my first T... or maybe 3 😂 now I have a collection of about 10 tarantulas (some really spicey, already). Don't be surprised for beeing an inspirational person, I personally admire your work to much! Your videos are funny and very relaxing, except for the moment X. White bites the straw 🤣🤣🤣

The millipede secretes a browny yellow liquid when they feel threatened. If it gets on your skin it will stain for a few days lol. It should be alright anyway as they are pretty tough guys👌.

If you get a smelly mark, put your hand under running hot water (hot as possible without hurting yourself 😅) the stain and the smell should be gone within a few seconds 😉 the protein compounds get destroyed by heat

I know you didn’t ask for a name for the camel spider, but I think it would be a missed opportunity to not name him Akhenaten. I know others would say King Tut, but I chose Akhenaten because when I see his “I’m gonna do whatever I want and you can’t stop me” attitude, Akhenaten comes to mind because he angered the gods and priests alike by attempting to change to a monotheistic religion. He engaged in the destruction of temples of any other god who wasn’t Aten. Did he care? Not a single bit

The Middle East and Horn of Africa: Gets rain
Big desert locust swarms as a result: Revolution of our times-

If countries in the Middle East and Africa had desert locusts as their armies, they'd be able to beat their neighbors in minutes.
