You actually liked my skull?!?! Ugh, jokes are on me I guess xD
"Linda" is the spanish word for pretty. So I suggest "Bonita" which is another spanish synonym for pretty. It also makes sense as they are Latin American species.
Agree
I think Bela/Bella is more appropriate because it is also a Latin name which is a synonym of Linda.
Imma riot if this doesn't come through
Good idea!
Buena idea :)
Wanda might be perfect for Theraposa Blondi. She makes a perfect rival with Linda. 😁
Love this
How about Brenda for Linda's new friend. The enclosures are looking really good. Nice job.
Hey Petko, millipedes are pretty specialized in their care (I believe you’ve had some in the past so I won’t be too specific). Deep, moist substrate is crucial, and must have edible components in it. You also cannot house them with anything that might attack and eat them while they are molting (this includes isopods). I trust you will do your research and I hope he is able to recover because he’s amazing! Someone else mentioned in the comments to use surgical glue to treat the crack- this works, but maybe talk to someone who has experience first-hand.
Is so weird! them species in a dwarf form here in Australia are an absolute PEST, around where I live thay are in Plague Proportions! People are spending thousands on extermination bills trying to keep them out of their homes!
It's already dead
Nah he just let's his pets die
HE DOES ZERO RECEARCH! HE DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO TAKE CARE OF HIS ANIMALS!! THERE'S SO MANY DEAD ANIMALS BECAUSE OF HIM
@@brandonfreniere7006 how do you know it's already dead?
Maybe Bella? Linda and Bella have pretty much the same meaning in spanish, which is "pretty"
i second that
I second this suggestion
Very nice
Just had a spider crawl down from the ceiling in front of my TV when I clicked on your video, seems they like watching you too 😂😂
Yes, put the Dark Den sign on the ceiling right above your head for when you are filming. It will give your videos a steady and constant marking with your brand and will be a unique signature on your clips. You can make it fit perfectly in the frame when you are standing at your desk filming. It will look brilliant.
Great idea 💡
Some great new additions, T blondi should be called "Big Bertha".
I would sell you for the crack on your giant millipede shell. Or its carapace or exoskeleton.. you could take a little bit of surgical glue known as new skin and put it on the crack itself and that might help it heal. That way when it goes to shed it'll shut off in one piece. You could also contact somebody new is a lot about giant millipedes and ask them some questions on how to fix that issue with the crack in the exoskeleton. It is something to ask questions about. Cuz you do have an injury to this insect and it might need to be treated. I may I don't know if they're too many veterinarians deal with millipedes in your area. But you definitely could see if there's some way to close the crack or just seal it in a bit so it doesn't get infected. And the millipede doesn't get worse. But I would suggest just taking a little bit of new skin or surgical glue. And applying a small little. To it and then getting that closed up a bit. I don't know if it'll help don't know if it'll keep it from leaking. One never knows. But if you know somebody in your area that knows a lot about giant millipedes and how to heal a crack in the exoskeleton. It'd be worth asking them about it.
Linda is kind of an old lady sounding name. So this T. Blondi needs one like that. Gladys is what I thought of first. But Eleanor or Edith I think would be great too. Love the new additions!
Beulah, Edna, Mavis, Mabel or Mehitabel. :-)
Cheryl, Cindy or Susan
Rita. Another good oldie. I like Mabel and Gladys though too 😁
Maybe „Helga“ would be a good name. Quite old German name 😉
The russian version could also work. "Olga". The names are closely related.
More like scandinavian with the meaning of "holy"
@@ChAoSlOrD1988 it's a widespread Germanic name
I think you might have a winner with that, haha
I like Helga because it is a German name. It fits perfect
"every animal will benefit from a varied diet..."
Not so sure the grasshoppers would agree 🙂
ROFL
The "fangs" on the camel spider are the chelicera.
I suggest Miranda as a name for the blondi, I think Linda and Miranda sounds nice in combination
That sling looks NOTHING like an adult GBB. That’s amazing.
It is . They go through one of the biggest transformations in the tarantula world . Also one of my favorite T's
@@whatsupchris our GBB we got as a smaller sling than “the man, the myth, the legend.” And she looms just like the one in the video. Great buy bro! Our GBB is our favorite Spooder. She in fact just molted and looks so cool.
I think another key to camel spiders survival is substrate depth. On arachnoforum the most success people have had was when they had a substrate depth of at least a foot. Yes they live i not climates, but they only emerge when it is favorable (nighttime).
Zilla.
Even if its the same name as a tarantula caretaker I used to follow and his Zilla passed away very very long time ago, but she was also a T-Blondi!
Congratulations on new friends!
Suggestion: Ferrera
When we think of Linda, we think of Lindor truffles. Not to mention, northern South America is known for producing cacao. So we thought the second one should be a chocolate-related name. Ferrera, in reference to the iconic Ferrero Rocher.
OR Matilda. Because of her happy dance we think she's a "Waltzing Matilda" like the name of the famous Aussie song
i love the name ferrera
+1 for Ferrera
I like Matilda I have a big aphonopelma seemani I also named after the aussie melody cause she happy dances like that
5:53 it kinda looks like it has batman logo on the back, i think batman would be a cool name but im not the one to choose it
just thought the same!
there are so many different shapes and logos on that booty lol, I also see a cartoony dog face or an orange raincoat with a hoodie
I think Lucy or Leona for the Blondi’s new name. 😍
I had the same though on Lucy
Lucy would be great!
Working with Pets for a living has ruined the name Lucy for me, too many animals with that name. Molly is another one. I'm ruined.
Maybe Hilda? It is generated from a old german word meaning battle woman :)
Gayle!!
Every time you talk about Linda, all I can think about is that TV show Bob's Burgers. Linda's sister's name in the show is Gayle. So they could be tarantula sisters hehe!!
Hi Petko first thank you so much for the shout out and for the tlicotl abolopis it has been rehoused and fed....I am so glad that you actually liked the monster I brought you....It was amazing to meet you and I had a blast!!
BRENDA 🕷
Not only is it my Nan’s name, it also goes great with Linda! Got to love the old lady names :)
Love this name!!
My vote on a name for the blondi is Matilda. :) Stunning animals!
I agree. Linda and Matilda sounds great. Besides, when I was a child I had an plastikspider looking like a tarantula and you can let her jumping. Her name was aunty Matilda. I loved to play with her and even took her to school and made my teacher screaming and running. Next day all my classmates also bring plastikinsects.
Gayle!
being from the south(Texas), Linda & Gayle go great together xD
You should really get to terraristika in Hamm, Germany once it starts again! The biggest reptile expo on earth if i´m not mistaken and always a nice experience! Also a lot of people from around the world are there, maybe even some fans or fellow youtubers.
And I think Sarah would be a nice name for the new Theraphosa.
Did you know centipedes have a faster top speed than humans?
*They run at 100 feet a second*
Cool new additions to The Final Dark Den!
I've said this before but I'll always say it again: your informative, calm and funny content style is AMAZING for those afraid of spiders. I came here years ago just to "scare" myself with the spiders and centipedes, they horrified me. Now I absolutely love them. I'm not in a situation to own any tarantulas but I get some truly massive wolf spiders in my yard that I've caught crickets for and fed-- you can hear the crunch with some of these big girls. I'll be a loyal fan to Dark Den for life, you had turned my lifelong phobia into a full appreciation for creepy crawlies. I hope you come out with some merch again in the future, I've already got my lovely t-shirt!
Loving the new additions cant wait to see what you come up with for their enclosures ...
Hell yeah I've always been so fascinated with camel spider I'm glad to see you have a new one in the dark den
i am here still waiting for him to keep wolf spiders again
Wow! Incredibly amazing additions!!! How exciting! It'll be super fun to watch them grow, and watch the videos of you making their enclosures, too. Can't wait! 😄
The camel 🐪 spider 🕷 looked like it lost a leg 🦵 in transit! Cool new creatures!! Beautiful gifts!!
I'm so scared of spiders. But you're the only person who can make me even look at a video of a spider 🕷xx
Don’t be I was before but after handling garden spiders I’m fine
Great new additions can’t go wrong with gbb I have 12 of them my favourite by far can’t wait to see them in enclosures
Great vid 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Linda & Pinda (peanut 🥜) 🤣🤭 Grats on the new additions! 🥰
Nice additions!! Call her Bela. Both Linda and Bela are synonymous with beautiful, and is also short and easy to pronounce
My suggestion for the T blondi's name: Lori. I think the two names sound good together, Linda and Lori.
Name suggestion for the new Tarantula "Brenda". That way we will carry over some of the fear Linda instills.
made me jump and i dropped my phone on floor when she bite the straw 🤣😂
Bella!
Sounds is good.
Thanks for the content!
Hey Petko, about the Chamel Spider: They are hiding under rocks and in the sand to avoide heat. Thats why they only come out in the night. I have never kept them but it seem's logical to me so alot of heat might not be the reason why the others died. Maybe im completly wrong with afterall. Better check again..
Their latin name solifugae means something along the lines of "fleeing from the sun", so you're totally right. But a day and night cycle with higher and lower temperatures could be beneficial. In a certain range of course. After all, even hiding under rocks in a desert will be a pretty warm way to spend your day. I'm thinking something like 30°C during the day time
My local ones in Washington dart around during the day when it's 105+ and start to come back out around sundown when it cools alot.
It was a great a surprise seeing you there! We were in a hurry and you had a conversation with a customer, that's the reason I've missed to greet you.
Maybe next time and greetings from Hungary! ;)
I read on a forum that a Solfugids' lifespan benefits from nightly temperature drops, a restricted diet, and a hibernation period for the winter time. Solfugids rarely pass up food in captivity because food is scarce in their natural habitat and they will eat whatever is available. Many owners feed them regularly and keep them hot 24/7 which may be the reasons for their short lifespan in captivity.
Luna? Good name for the T blondi?
Our Camel Spiders/ Sun Spiders/ Wind Scorpions look the same here in Arizona (even the same color) as your Egyptian one
We have them to in Las Vegas Nevada! They look the same. I didn't even know we had them out here.
So excited to watch this! I recently got a pet beetle that I named Ada so she and i are gonna watch this together
I think you should name the new spider Charlotte! After the book Charlottes Web! Classic kids book! Linda and Charlotte! Totally excited! Linda is still my all time favorite, she never disappoints! I agree with others on here for the camel spider to use an Egyptian Name! Should choose a good Pharaoh name! King Tut is the usual, but also have the Great Ramsey, and so on! Love Egypt! Much love and support ❤
Awesome dark den and the sound is perfect
+ 1 on the zero sugar drinks! They taste nasty….Fingers crossed for Mr Millipede ❤️
All Monsters have artificial sweeteners lol. I can't have them (they give me kidney stones) and the only one that I've found that doesn't have it is Redbull.
Always seemed stupid to put artificial sweeteners into an energy drink that has 200%+ of random daily minerals lol
Harriet has a nice ring to it! Linda and Harriet 😁
I like that Linda is a dinner lady name! I think that Bertha the blondi would be so cool to complete the dinner lady duo!
Another awesome upload! Thx Petko
Linda and... Louise?
Just spent two weekends in a row sitting on the seller's side of cons as well (toys at anime and "nerd" cons), it really is a different experience and it's kind of like watching a zoo walk past you of interesting people.
Lois - almost my thoughts too. Linda and Lois.
Wonder Woman and Lois Lane
I think Linda and Zelda could be a nice duo.
I’m looking forward to the -re-housing videos.
Loved the video and your new animals especially the spiders beautiful
Very cool, thanks for sharing, best of luck with your new friends, They are do cool and forgiving.
Linda and Louise! She is a beautiful girl!
I love camel spiders. I had a Galeodidae named Peaches for about 9 months and I currently have 2 paragalodes. I did have three but the biggest one did not live very long. They are very neat to watch dig. :)
Is it true that they live maximum 2 or 3 years at least? I’ve seen a lot of that animals but all died very soon for the sadness of their owners :-(
Linda means beautiful in spanish so along with that theme for your theraphosa blondi, the name "Bella" but like with the english pronunciation "bela" would be an amazing name for her. Bella also mean beauty in spanish
Very neat new spiders.
camel spiders always freak me out, they look like fkn aliens xD
Love the new inhabitants of the Den! Hope the millipede will be alright :/
It was nice to meet you, and thank you for the MiniAnnie 😁
The blondi's name should be Madame Octa 😁 (if you know the cirque du freak you will approve it 😁)
I loved reading the cirque du freak! Madam Octa was a cool spider.
I don't know why seeing you trying to grab the sponge with bare hands seems funny 🤣 maybe because you laughed right after that "dangerous moment" 🤣
Love the videos as always. I keep seeing you collecting Monster Cans, is there a list of what you have/want? I’m from Canada, maybe we have something interesting you would like. If not, I could send a can of “Beaver Buzz” lol 😝
I had quite a huge collection of tarantulas but fell on hard times this past year and had to give them away as I could no longer afford to feed them, and my roach colony never took off, the circumstances just sucked.
I tried keeping dubias but they wouldn't breed . I have since (only 4 females left) found out that I probably didn't have a high enough humidity for them to breed
@@whatsupchris I'm thinking that's what the issue was for me, I found that I would be feeding my t's from the colony, but had to feed more often than they would reproduce and pretty soon they just were not reproducing. Well, I couldn't afford to keep ordering roaches, with the shipping alone being fifty bucks, so I gave my t's to my friend.
Sorry to hear that man :( I wish you luck with all your troubles.
@@FatBehaviorReacts i had them in 40% but couldn't keep it any higher . I even used a humidifier, kept them dark and quiet ... everything I read to do and they would not mate . I would see a egg hanging out a butt then later find it dried up on the bottom .
Aww, damn. Things will pick up and you might get them back. I mean it happened to Tarantula Dan and look at him now, new dad😊 Good luck🍀❤️
Another great video Petko
I've been watching your videos for about 1 year and a half more or less and and about 2 months ago I decided to by my first T... or maybe 3 😂 now I have a collection of about 10 tarantulas (some really spicey, already). Don't be surprised for beeing an inspirational person, I personally admire your work to much! Your videos are funny and very relaxing, except for the moment X. White bites the straw 🤣🤣🤣
The millipede secretes a browny yellow liquid when they feel threatened. If it gets on your skin it will stain for a few days lol. It should be alright anyway as they are pretty tough guys👌.
If you get a smelly mark, put your hand under running hot water (hot as possible without hurting yourself 😅) the stain and the smell should be gone within a few seconds 😉 the protein compounds get destroyed by heat
And don't monkeys use it as a flea treatment? If I remember rightly. Or was it Lemurs?
@@W._Langman lemurs do! I just watched something about it and they also use them to get high from
@@20PINKluvr 🤣🤣🤣 thanks for the tip. Hey Petko, can I lick your millipede? 🤣🤣🤣
I know you didn’t ask for a name for the camel spider, but I think it would be a missed opportunity to not name him Akhenaten. I know others would say King Tut, but I chose Akhenaten because when I see his “I’m gonna do whatever I want and you can’t stop me” attitude, Akhenaten comes to mind because he angered the gods and priests alike by attempting to change to a monotheistic religion. He engaged in the destruction of temples of any other god who wasn’t Aten. Did he care? Not a single bit
Omg I’ve seen a documentary about this topic just today! He was the “husband” of Nefertiti and the father of Tutankhamen!
Hell yea! Damn good suggestion! Little side note, if you like metal music check out the song "cursing akhenaten" by After the Burial. Your suggestion instantly made me want to listen to it lol
He should call it Toe
RA the god who moves the sun in the sky as it needs heat to survive 🌞
🤣🤣
I say they should rhyme. Linda and Cinda (short for Cinderella)? I think it works! 🕷🤍🕷🤍🕷
That big Dark Den banner would be a great backdrop to another molt wall!
The Blondi could be called Malinka (I think It means raspberry in croatian/russian/polish but its often used for small/cute things in general)
and Linda & Malinka sounds decent enough :)
I had that millipede in 2019 to 2020 and it lived with my giant African snails fine so they should be fine together
"Lara" sounds good!
I generally love what you do and i hope you continue to grow, Id like to say tho bro you must have a hella high power bill, Like gawd dayum all that heat for all those animals i cant even imagine what it could be
The Dark Den just continues to get better. Im exciting for the future content.
The Middle East and Horn of Africa: Gets rain
Big desert locust swarms as a result: Revolution of our times-
Pet owners: *It's showtime*
If countries in the Middle East and Africa had desert locusts as their armies, they'd be able to beat their neighbors in minutes.
Suggestion: As for the name for the birdeater, how bout Tina? Like Linda and Tina Belcher from Bob's Burgers!
awesome love the new ones especially the one that got the straw and the big girl
Linda and Bertha !!! dont ask why 🤣🤣
Congrats they are all awesome. i cant wait to see the grasshoppers video 😁
Call Linda 2.0 "Hamilton" for the actress Linda Hamilton 😀
I'll let myself out
Ha.... I had a similar idea but mine was Blair for Linda Blair from the Exorcist.
@@Keltos. good one
Perhaps you can make like a desert theme terrarium for the camel spider.
It will die in big space for sure
Awesome additions 👍👍👍
You also got me from afraid to spiders to owning 13 tarantulas and two jumping spiders!!
"Tish" Mortisha is the perfect name for new theraposa blondi
I was thinking the same thing!
It also goes with the spooky season XD
And u can't get more spooky or creepy then "The Addams Family" click ,click
Oh wow, finally a T blondi. We have a show in Britain called Birds of a Feather. One actress is called Linda Robson, then we have Pauline Quirke and Lesley Joseph. So how about Pauline? And if you get a third Theraposa Lesley? Plus they are all birds, women, bird eating spiders. Just a suggestion😊 Hope the millipede will be OK. And good luck with the camel spider😊sound is great btw
For the names I suggest "Hermosa". means gorgeous. Or "Bella" means beautiful. Bella and Linda 🖤🕷️🖤🕷️
Sound is good Petko with the new microphone
Petko do you know by now that camel spiders appear dead for a long time when molting? For like months at a time.
My idea for the name of the Theraphosa Blondi: "Agatha"
It sounds mysterious and merciless (for me) :-)
Great Video
Theresa
Great video as usual! Looks like a bunch of great purchases. As for the "pede" , I would use the glue as suggested below. If it makes it to a shed/molt, I would think that it would be fine.
as for names, hmmmm.......Becky or Karen or Caitlyn. I like Maggy a lot too ;)
Good luck with all of your new acquisitions!
I think Linda and "Ella" would go along really well :)
I think the coolest name for the T.Blondi would be simply put. Blondie!
The simplicity of it combined with the species name in a way just tickles my fancy.
But of course. Go with whatever feels right!
"Linda" means "beautiful" in spanish, so the other girl should be "pretty" - Bonita!
I was thinking along the same lines for Linda meaning pretty but I thought of Bella instead. Spanish or Italian
@@mcalle100 Cool idea, I didnt think about that
Bianca ! Linda and Bianca! Works well!
i appreciate your content man.
