More energy went into that frog than the entirety of the game story.
So true, like it wouldn’t even take that much to make the story better, just give a little more exposition at the beginning, ie our NAME, redo the credits cutscenes entirely, like having Kelvin recovering and Virginia NOT pregnant. And the story already is 10x better.
For anyone curious if they stayed on the island, a few things happen.
They build the artifact in a new cave that spawns, enemies become more aggressive, there are more enemy types, and s99e enemies have upgraded versions of themselves. It essentially just lets you keep playing the game.
That’s pretty sick, they could MILK that for a lot of content
I found the teleportation/rift elevator so fricking funny because the ghosts look like the ones from A Christmas Carol

honestly showing the future or whatever it was is one thing but the ghosts ruined that whole scene so much like why are they there? its so out of place
