Used to PVP in World of Warcraft to this band, pretty sure I pirated the songs too , but that lady saying what you posted just gave me a nostalgia hit lol
Brother😂👌🏻 so glad you said this haha
💯
My brother bought Stabbing the Drama for me as a 25th birthday present while he was in Germany. It was an awesome gift and one of my favorite metal albums ever.
cool bro
If you're reading this comment it's been a few years and you should listen to stabbing the drama right now!
I honestly miss this Soilwork. The melodies, the lyrics, and most of all - the incredible chorus. Man, this is one of the best choruses in Modern Metal to this day. And listen to the guitars in the background - such a simple progression, incredible result. I need another Soilwork song like this one.
You have 3 albums like this. Figure number five, Stabbing the drama & The panic broadcast. Personally I am glad they went back to the heavy prog stuff like the living infinite. The ride majestic is almost a hybrid album.
First few Scar Symmetry albums disagree :) but gotta say, this clean chorus is indeed stands out
@@sdny7111 I've listened to all of stabbing and figure number 5. They did not come close to doing it for me, but I've been coming back to this specific song for years
You need to get out more. If your impressed by this??? Listen to Soil

Still listening to this 2020, still one of the best!
Of course 🤘🔥🔥🔥
A classic at this point. Remember listening to this tune back in Summer of 2006
one of my first metal song ever listened
Agreed
Same here, this is one of my favorite albums, still listening to it in 2020!!!
This entire album is still amazing
Been banging this since 2007, still a killer song!
same here mate. best album
Soilwork has been my favorite band since two years ago when I first discovered them. Listening to Stabbing The Drama again and holy shit I just realized this video was released literally a month after my birth
I saw Soilwork at Ozzfest 2005, and this was the album they were promoting. Forever a fan since.
If you're reading this comment it's been a few years and you should listen to stabbing the drama right now!
I was there that year too 🤌🤌
Lyrics:
My declaration hurts, just wanna stab it right now!
Congratulations, you've found yourself
Been preaching too many times to an hysterical mind
So won't you fucking behave yourself.
It's all in there, without despair
So you've saved your soul?
It always depends who will deliver
Have you ever known
Such a beautiful mind that gives you shelter
I'm waiting for something to show,
I might as well...
Just drag me down so low
I'm down the drain and I've got nothing to fear
With a polluted mind
I had my share of losing
Don't you ever cross that line
So you've saved your soul?
It always depends who will deliver
Have you ever known
Such a beautiful mind that gives you shelter
Break the record, in a second, cherish your mental weapons
Watch the progress from an aspect that's stabbing the drama inside.
I'm waiting for something to show,
I might as well...
Just drag me down so low
I'm waiting for something to show,
My punishment
For being down so low
I can't believe how it used to be,
Selfish minds were abusing me
Self pity and determined to crawl
Manipulation of a merciful soul
I'm waiting for something to show,
I might as well...
Just drag me down so low
I'm waiting for something to show,
My punishment
For being down so low
I had surgery a few years ago and this nurse named Max loved metalcore and he showed me this song. I was in 7th grade and didn’t really have a lot of freinds and it was really cool talking to someone about the music that nobody at my school listened that I enjoyed. I’m midway through sopomore year right now. I hope Max is doing okay he really made that week I was in the hospital go by fast
Childhood memories
I only heared the song like a few weeks back and it´s 10 years old ? Dang
more like holy fuck
i heard it just today, and i've been into this kind of music for a while. dang
Katchuu then you should listen to Scar Symmetry, Threat Signal, God Forbid, îll Ninó, 7Dust, All That Remains, American Headcharge, Killswitch Engage, Lamb of God, Meshugga, Bullet for my Valentine, Smiling Politely
Katchuu also After the burial.
TomLehockySVK Same
Timeless masterpiece !!! Thank you.
one of my favorite songs when it came out and still one of my favorites today
in soilwork we trust
Damn time flies... I was in elementary school when this came out. Soilwork was the band that got me into metal. Still love listening to their music. Even though the members of the band have changed a million times.
If you're reading this comment it's been a few months and you should listen to stabbing the drama right now!
Can you perhaps explain the meaning of "stabbing the drama" to me ? I'm not a native English speaker and while I'm pretty confident in its usage I have never encountered this term outside this video. Does it mean something specific ?
Going back through old music I listened to when I was a teenager, and I want to bash my head into a wall for almost forgetting about this amazing band.
I still love this. excellently written.
Still great after 12 years
2024 here and still a banger first album from them I got and still one f my favs
this is definatly their best song from their best album! i love it, saw 'em live last december, they were perfect!
Still listening this music video on oct 2020 👌👌👌👌
Damn right!
Scandinavia takes the cake in terms of Metal.
Rock on Soilwork! \m/
Man, I remember when this video came out. I was very hyped. Even cooler, this was posted the day my son was born. Time flies.
This song got me into metal, AWESOME!!
This band and In Flames and so many other bands from the turn of the century. This is still the best song from that time.
One of the greatest metal albums in history....
😄
Every part of this song is just amazing.
Uma das melhores do Soilwork. Mto foda!!!
Man, i'm obssesed with this band
This album helped shape my life.
I just turned 30.
Same
Listen to Threat Signal aswell.
Congratulations you've found yourself
I'll show support I'll prepare
Favorite soil song
soil is a different band though. but this is my fave too
great articulation on the screams. great band
Watch it on mute, and it's just some guy having a mental breakdown because his car caught on fire.
Hahahahaha
Lmao
No he's just pissed cause it caught fire doesn't know what his options are
no no he’s saying 😂😂😂
Сталина нет
Why were they never more popular?!?! Loved this band since the beginning!
1:57 best part, so goddamn awesome!
His moves try to convey how much he feels what he sings.. Anything about his mind his hands are on his head. When he sings about waiting for something show hes reaching out in different directions. When he sing about the way things used to be or how he has nothing to fear he is right up in the camera to be like up in your face. Challenging like.
@captainwungf
I couldn't agree more. They truly are underrated..
This is a great band, with a great vocalist, seen them live, and they are even great live.
I wish all the greatness in the world to this band. Go Soilwork!
These guys will be big, someday.. somehow.
THATS IT
THIS IS MY FAV BAND RIGHT NOW ( :
favorite soil work track
Its was my first song of Soilwork... Still in my playlist... So sad about David, we never forgot you 😢🙏🤘
It's amazing how much has Soilwork progressed with The Living Infinite and The Ride Majestic compared to their previous albums.
I FINALLY REMEMBERED THE NAME SOILWORK!!!! LOOOOVVVEEEE ❤
Holy shit, this is so powerful !
I dont even know witch song to react they are all fantastic. Hoping to see you in GMM in belgium next year. Really awsome also aloth of respect to the drummer he does one hell of a job!!!
this used to be my favorite song by this band until I listened to long live the misanthrope
Yesterday this blew my speakers. Soilwork albums hold up over time like a fine wine.
Wow merci McFly et Carlito. Une jolie petite pépite
I will listen to this song on CD again indeed!
soilwork is badass
Always top
With this album, the band reached its creative peak. I was 19 years old when this album came out, and for about a year or two, I was literally unable to listen to anything apart from this album and Come Clarity by In Flames, which came out a year before this album.
12 years ago this masterpiece was released! LOVE!
Always thought the very beginning was way better than the rest of the song. Don't get me wrong its still a good song, but that beginning just sets you up for something way better in my opinion.
It does. Or, at least, it gets you pumped up for anything better than a repetitive groove riff. Still one of the catchier tunes from the album, though.
maybe its because this song is tied into a lot of history with me, but I still find it to be one of the best songs ive ever heard. The stabbing the drama CD as a whole is completely amazing. Guess im just a fanboy of this album
I've always felt this way. The first time I heard it I was like OH FUCK THIS IS GOING TO BE HEAVY AS FUCK.
And then nope.
I love Soilwork, but I never really cared for any of the stuff on this album.
My gotos are still Shadowchild and Millionflame.
Yeah, I'd be blasting this in my car just for the beginning, then rewind back lol
Hell yeas, exactly
2020! Such an intro and song 🤟🤟🤟
I need to make sure my hat is still on every 10 seconds.
awesome song....soliwork is one of my favourite band.
9 years ago... this video was uploaded.. 9 years ago. ._.
Jesus fuck, man. Where has the time gone. I saw them on ozzfest when this album dropped. I was like 14. D=
I still feel like 2006 is like, you know, not as far away as 1981 is from 1990 ._.
+toxendon The actual song was released in 2005. 10 years ago. Think about that for a minute.
+toxendon And yet it is still such a damn good song, it never grows old. Hell, the whole album is a classic IMHO.
Yup, still headbanging so hard to this!
this song is just so best !!!!
My neck cries when it hears this song
soil work and lamb of god are now my 2 favorite bands u go soilwork now i know what album to buy!!!
Soilwork is one of my favorite this song owns
best melodic metalcore song i've ever heard
Agree!! \m/
My perfection noise scream it all right now.!.
Who's still listening in 2026?
I'm so glad I found this song ❤️
I've always thought that was Jack Skellington on his beanie.
Ouvia muito na minha adolescência....bons tempos...música boa nunca morre🖤💀🤟🏿....
ANYONE IN PANDEMIC MODE LISTEN THIS MASTERPIECE???
one of my fav bands for a while now man
All I hear in the first lines is "Just want a sandwich right now"
awesome song. one of my favourite bands
Thanks Mcfly & Carlito 🙏😁
i love the beginning and chorus to this song. the guitar is so mesmerizing. stabbing the drama was such a good cd
I might be alone on this, but if you think about really bad sex and listen to this song, it makes it seem like they intentionally called it Stabbing The Drama. (STD)
Just sayin'.
I thought that Stabbing the Drama was a Kelsey euphemism. :p
Also that. Lmao
first time i hear these guys, thumbs up for sure
Is that the new singer in Drowning Pool?
34103070674978532046 Idk but Nice profile pitchure bro korn 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
No the singer of Soilwork is Bjorn Strid and the new DP singer is Jasen Moreno
dude..yes!
McFly Carlito vous êtes là ?😂
excellent precision in the drumming
That doesn't look like Bjorn at all tbh
In Flames and Soilwork. My favorite bands..EVER
Fucking HATE music videos that only focus on the frontman. Where's the rest of the band in this video?
there is a lot of fire... their guitars might be set ablaze
In Flames did a music video with lots of fire in it and they had their entire band in it. Pretty sure they could afford a safety specialist if they could afford all the fancy pyrotechnics.
true, like in phsycosocial
ufffffffff buenisimo hermano.... tenia tiempo sin escuchar buena musica. mis respetos por aqui desde venezuela
Great Screams and Shouts
A favorite such a good song
man this is still yalls best song ever by far
One of the best songs :) Stabbing the Drama and Distoration Sleep
This is a freaking great song i just love, it just love it !!
That intro is just sooo good
soilwork might be one of my new favs!!!!!
