I actually like this video really much, the whole album "The Living Infinite" is ocean/nautical (?) based. Fits only that their video is about the endless waters too (Living Infinite being a world play that the oceans are vast, almost infinite and very much alive)
I wish they had repated that opening riff more times along the song, it is a blasting riff.

One of my favorites by soilwork
'Spectrum of Eternity' and maybe 'Drowning with Silence' are the only two songs from Soilwork that I love. Unfortunately for me, they did not play either of them, when they were warming up for Amorphis, last year (2019) in Sofia, Bulgaria.
I love this song so much, Intro sounds like ** Luca Turilli - Princess Aurora ** - (singing theme on that song) Nice song, however! :D

One of the best songs ever. Pretty good video but a song this good deserves something even more epic. Like the end of the video. Album art is sea themed so that's probably why this kind of video was created.

Great double album. Is good from beginning to end. Soilwork is such a talented band. This was a melodic deathcore classic. Even though it's not old. It still is one of thier best albums. I was a huge fan of Natural born Chao's, Steelbath & figure # 5 but this is so well put together. I like the new album too. This 1 is just insane.

+nick leeper It has melodic deathcore styles in it. It's Metal. People call alot of things melodic deathcore but Soilwork has death riffs & blast beats & melodic choruses. Call it what you want. To me it's good music. Been into them since Steelbath Suicide. This album was called the first melodic deathcore album ever. Some of their stuff is not but this album is.
I have never once heard them referred to as melodic deathcore lol i have been a fan since the beginning too. To me they have always just been melodic death metal.
+nick leeper I have been in bands that opened for Immolation, Dying fetus & Skinless. That is death metal. Go type in Melodic Deathcore or death metal basically will get the same results. It's more prog Melodic Metal then either. I don't hear much death in it at all. I really don't care what you call it. But don't try to make me look like I don't know what I am talking about. There are bigger problems in the world then nonsense like this. I know alot of death metal fans who can't stand Soilwork or In Flames . We like the same music but you want to nit pick words. Get a job

At first I was kinda disappointed that this is another comic style video but I enjoyed it! Fits very well. And may I remember you what the "As We Speak" Video looked like? You saw the band AND a small story.

I don't know, if anyone can remember a (I believe German?) game called "Biolab" and it's predecessor "Physikus". Both are point and click adventures, used to teach children around 16 physics and biology. They had a pretty similar artstyle to this video...

Goddamit I want to listen to this in my fucking local radio station too.
Listen to the rest of The Living Infinite. This is one of the heavier songs so the clean vocals aren't as prevalent. On most of the other songs he balances singing with screaming very well and the album has three songs that are mostly singing. Trust me, it's an amazing album.

If you notice at the end, the planet IS spherical, but a huge flat plane was created on top of it. I think the video is saying that by failing to see and accept the perfection in the universe, and by creating that flat world to replace it in accordance with our limited human minds, we're unnecessarily setting ourselves up for failure.
Alternately, it's about those individuals with dreams, who plan and eventually overcome the limitations set up by society.
