Your work truly stands out. I've been on the hunt for something like this for ages, and then, just like that, I stumbled across your video on Google. I can't thank you enough.
Hey Justin, I got a question: After you've done the projection on the surface and then would like to move/copy that surface together with the projection sketch, how do you do it? Thank you!
This was exactly what I was looking for. I'm guessing you can also make a path from an intersecting plane, but what you showed fixes half of my problem.
Just rotated the sketch play 90 degrees, used straight lines extending beyond the surface, and then used the same technique you showed... boom, exactly what I was looking for. Used the pipe feature to make the simple ridges I needed on these paths. Thank you for the pointers.
I created a small latch, two weeks ago, for my daughter's cake carrier. It had 3 but one was missing. The part had a small carved out design along it its surface and I had no idea how to 'simply' do it. I knew I could do it, but it would have been a lot of work my way. This was the simple way to do it! I just might go back and build it again with the 'carve out'.
Hey Justin I am trying to take a cylinder and wrap it in a design I just want the one design to curl around the edge of the cylinder how can I do that in fusion 360
Depending on what you are doing you can also just split the face(not body) without projecting the geometry and use split as path for the sweep. Enjoy your videos, thanks.
One of the most useful tools for getting parts to fit together!
This was incredibly helpful! Thank you!

Its that second sketch that had me confused, thanks!

Hi everyone! Let me know if you have any questions about this tutorial in the comments below! :)
I like the tutorials but love to have more detail with most of the items.

Awesome! Glad it helped! :)
Thank you! You solved my problem!
Thx a lot !
This is some information that I didn't even know how to look for. Great job! Sub'd
I used this function a lot in solid but never knew how to do it in fusion. But finally!!!!! thank men.
Very nice tutorials love them subscribed!

Yet another excellent video - Cheers
Thank you!
This would have really helped me two weeks ago but it will make the future more interesting.

Tried this today, still doesn't like me but is working somewhat.
Very helpful
