I love this. maybe all the gamerooms levels are just what happens when people turn the game off. when the game gets turned off, it turns to night and everything disappears. if this is the theory, i wonder what would happen if someone turns the game on while someone is in the gamerooms?
this honestly just made me wish we had an actual Princess Peach's castle we could explore, Like Universal Studios, I would love to explore it and its liminal spacery :P

The reason theres no music is so the player can get used to the 3d controls without getting stressed out. Thats why you dont hear that bowser kidnapped the princess untill after navigating into the castle. The outside of the castle is meant to be a area where agency doesnt exsist.

My theory of what will happen is
I think it will just teleport you to a level the paintings resemble

my theory is that dire dire docks will start with having no water at all, then the map will slowly flood until the person is dead.
Perhaps a specific entity inhabits there and only appears if you go down the hallway even further?
