My advise would be this:
1. Be as consistent as you possibly can with uploading content.
2. If you go big on one video (production wise) go big on everything you do! Be consistent in your quality!
3. (And this might be the most important) make the content you want to see be made. Don’t be afraid of doing trends, just make sure it’s actually a video you want to make!

Just finished reading Divine Rivals and really enjoyed it!
I figured out the plot of the silent patient very early on in the book 😅 so I haven't picked up another one of his books yet but the maidens sound so good!
Awesome video 😊 and thanks for the tip about fable I transferred my good reads to fable 😅😊 so I have only read divine rivals and it’s sequel ruthless vows and they were both really good reads 😊 I also read Recursion in 2 days because it was definitely better than Dark Matter especially in how they actually fixed the problem unlike Dark Matter where they never fixed the problem with the box by fixing all the open multiverse windows

You should definitely read the sequel to Divine Rivals--it builds way more on the fantasy elements and war between the gods!
Now that you and Ashlynn have both read Prince of Tides, you should absolutely watch the movie. It is phenomenal. Nick Nolte and Barbra Streisand.

Okay so I honestly thought you couldn’t stand The Secret History and was gonna say a really low rating. You’re like a book Ian. You had me hooked from the get go then the plot twist at the end shocked me lol. I may have to check out The Maidens now. I read The Silent Patient and gave that 4 stars so maybe I’ll like it.
I am currently reading the Poppy Wars Trilogy ...I think the series is perfectly your style . you should def check it out.

@ well this book helped me get out of a reading slump but I have to warn u that the books are huge like almost 600 pages and it has vivid and gruesome fighting scenes soo… and read the TW if u choose to read it.

I don't think I like Alex Michaelides I gave the silent patient 2 stars very predictable I gave the fury 1 star the writing style was like nails on a chalkboard and the maidens I gave 2 stars I was so bored

I looked up the first 2 books and they both had bad ratings... why not read the greatest books in history first? you know the time tested ones that are actually vital. Like Being and Time by Heidegger, And critique of Pure reason by Kant.. A search for lost time by Proust etc
If they wanted to read those, they would. There’s nothing wrong with reading books they will enjoy.
I've read two out of the three books that you read, but own the other one (and its sequel).
I gave The Maidens by Alex Michaelides 4 Stars. I really enjoyed this book, and I'm glad that I read it.
I gave Secret History by Donna Tartt 3.5 Stars...at the end, if I had had a physical copy, I would've chucked it across the room. Really?
The last book is on my TBR, and after hearing your thoughts on it, makes me want to binge the duology. Thank you.
BTW, I tried Fabel, and I really didn't like it. I had a hard time migrating all my books through their transition. It only would take about 85% of the books...which frustrated me. I contacted their support system, and they were helpful, but still, doing what they told me...only upped it to about 90%. Not fun. Plus, I struggled to keep up with the app. Mind you, it was not my ONLY app that I was using at the time. I think you HAVE to jump TOTALLY in, and not waver. For me, the app that works the best for me, is The StoryGraph. I update first on The StoryGraph, then copy it over to Goodreads, but when I tried to copy it over to Fable, the app limited the amount of characters...in the Review section...and it seemed to "dumb down" that portion, which I don't agree with. To me, it felt like The StoryGraph lite, version. They do similar things with the collecting of data, but in Fable's favour, the social media aspect of it...and building of community is their highest plus, but it wasn't/isn't what I'm there for. So, for me...I dumped the app after one month use. Just wasn't for me. Sorry.
To me the maidens was cliche on cliche on cliche 🫣 I never guess the suspect, but it was way too obvious 🤷♀️
