My grandson just joined the Air Force and seeing this respect between brothers brings tears to my eyes . Besides my husband is a Marine. Without them we wouldn’t have the freedom in our country we have . Don’t let anyone take that away . These guys are true hero’s ! May God be with you all !!!

If they were doing those things, in uniform, imagine the fidelity and respect they would earn. Those are currently pieces of the military success puzzle that are missing. I’m a contractor for cargo industry (aircraft mechanic). The ramp guys here do the push back and Marshall the plane out. Some of these guys here be extra creative with their moves as well and it’s always entertaining to watch what they got at times. My other full time job I’m an aircraft mechanic for a commercial airline. I’ve never seen ramp guys here do anything fun.

Best video of the day! My dad was a USAF MP, but his favorite job position after boot camp was signaling outgoing fighter jets in Saudi Arabia & Kuwait. Plus, my husband’s great uncle was the longest held “civilian” POW in Hanoi. Now, there are parts of his story we can’t share as it’s still classified info, but the most interesting part is that he was fighting in the war when his plane was shot down. It was just his day off, so he offered to do a “beer run” only to be shot down & captured on his way back. It’s why he’s listed as a “civilian” Him, John McCain shared a cell wall & communicated using Morse Code.
Well hopefully we still do there's so much going on in the military right now it's hard to say how good it is with the things that Joe Biden has allowed to get put in our military
I used to live near Langley down in VA. People who would visit would ask me if the sound of jets on their training runs ever bothered me because it was a multiple time a day occurrence. My response was always "Nope. That's the sound of our freedom." Much respect for the men and women who put everything on the line to keep us safe and free!

I've always liked how the Air Force puts the rank and name of the plane's Crew Chief on the plane as opposed to the Navy that puts the pilot's name on the plane. It's just mad respect to the Airmen that keep that aircraft flying. I love it.

These crew chiefs are assigned an aircraft when they arrive at their job. Most will stay with that single aircraft and deploy into combat with it. What you see are young men with confidence in their ability, pride in their country and the ability to enjoy the work. The pilots love the dances. It’s a tradition. Someone so confident that takes pride in their job is dancing up to tell them “you have my bird and she will hunt.” The ones who dance and have secret salutes with the pilots are usually the best of the best and prove it every day. The fact that the pilots give it back means these crew chiefs are trusted. Don’t be fooled by the smiles my friend. The same teeth that make their silly smiles can and sometimes do bite whole countries in half.
@@rvtech101 I worked with the crew chiefs (airplane lead mechanic), engine shop, pilots and command (the people who decide what aircraft, where and how often they want to fly). I would put it all together for the command staff, let them fight over resources, assets and air time then publish the results. It was a great job because I got to tell the highest ranking people on the base no. “No, sir you can’t fly on Thursday.” “No, ma’am you cannot hold 3 reserve aircraft for training during an active deployment cycle.” And watch them eat their ego and try to play nice…great job. I have a friend who was deck crew on an aircraft carrier. Pilots are officers so they had to be saluted before taking off. Deck hands also gave them the finger as they left the deck.

This is a performance team, they do this for training and shows, its insanly dope to watch and arguably one of the coolest jobs to be in
ATCs and the Pilots do this everyday in their normal work. The ATCs get bored, this makes the day more lively.
Most units have a signal between pilots and ground crew. I was in 5 and all of us did this after every launch
Mad respect for the ground crews of all branches, without which aviators would be lost.
