But I also think Ian Maatsen may become a favourite of Potter as a option, especially in games against weaker opposition. - Ian Maatsen has had 3 great loan seasons at Charlton, Coventry and Burnley respectively. getting progressively better with each loan. with his small, compact, agile, athletic build combined with his attacking style of play, a LB of his profile will be very useful to Potter. the profiles Chelsea are buying since the 4/5 technical directors the owners have brought in, have taken charge of transfers (this january) seem to be very, very precise. each transfer thus far have been players of a certain physical and technical standard and all have been young. it seems Chelsea are building a squad of profiles which work together, will grow together and will have tactical and philosophical unity eventually.

Nkunku should not be playing LW, unless we sign another left back whose good going forward. And if he does play out there, where does that leave Neto (assuming Palmer starts RW which I don't like either). @@MylesB93- I think OP meant Félix will provide competition for Nkunku AND for the LW spot, not that him and Nkunku would compete for LW. Félix and Palmer might also play as a double 10 sometimes, if Maresca tries some back 3 stuff. Then you also have to think about what happens if Osihmen joins...
playing him centrally at chelsea paired with havertz and then having sterling or pulisic be the runners could work well i think, along with james or chillwell on either side too.

Delivered! I agree, the signing to chelsea is odd - but I do like that you pointed out the potential to use Fofana in that forward runner role. I have only seen him vs city, so a small sample size but he looked like a player who can hold up the ball and run the channels at will. I assume the Thuram links are because chelsea understand the lack of runners is an issue...
You assessment of Felix is somewhat correct but is still massively flawed. Much of Felix's issues do not lie in ability but in the way that he is used at AM under Simeone. He made a mistake going there for sure. One thing though is that he has definitely improved defensively 😬
I saw the chiesa shout !! Lol .. would love to get him from juve especially given their current situation. Question is, is he still the same player after the injury
As a Chelsea fan, this deal makes almost no sense to me. Aside from the question of fit which you brought up, the terms of the contract are also bizarre. There's no buy option and Felix extended his Atletico's contract before leaving. Also, Cholo is rumoured to be leaving at the end of the season and he is the one Felix has issues with. So we're paying him £14M for a 6-month timeout before he goes back there? How committed would he be to perform with us then? That aside, I do agree about your comment on us needing runners. I don't think we should go for Mudryk though. Nkunku is coming and I think he'd work well as a left inside-forward. Havertz would the the central false 9 and then we'd need a left-footed right winger. Not many of those on the market but I'm impressed with Moussa Diaby. I'd love for you to add him to the list of players' analysis but he's probably not a sexy enough name rn to do a video on. 😂 So I figure I'd just ask you right here. How do you rate Diaby? Is he ready for a big step up? And would a 4-3-3 with a front line of Nkunku-Havertz-Diaby work? Many thanks and great video as always!
I like Diaby. Need to do a more in depth analysis on him before I make a proper judgement but he’s a decent option for the right wing slot. I think as a trio it is better than what you guys have at the moment but I feel Nkunku is someone who also kind of likes false 9 or dropping deep as well as getting in behind whereas I feel Havertz needs a pure out and out wing pace merchant like a Martinelli and Rashford who are super direct.
With one more szn of information on Felix and him all set for Chelsea move. Where do you think he will be at his best? Would he work as the left winger with nkunku as the left 10 with Palmer and neto occupying right side or is he gonna be backup to nkunku
Could he lead the line for Manchester United? With Rashford, Antony, Garnacho, et all making runs behind? He'd fit into Ten hags pressing side as well!!
Neither of these guys has the pace they used to. All past their prime and in Pulisic case just plain unlucky with hamstring issues which curtailed his electric pace.
Hey Pyth is he also a more similar profile to Nkunku and Palmer? I’d love for him to be utilised on the left being able to have freedom to interchange with Nkunku
His pace and dribbling speed are medium/slow paced. I don't know why you labelled it as his strength. Defenders catch up to him very easily even after he beats them, that combined with his lack of physicality is a huge problem and makes him ineffective against low-block systems.
@@jonpaul3868 He committed the foul to make amends for the bad touch, not due to frustration. And I don't know why people hype the physicality of the PL when the ref is always holding hands of the players and awards a free kick on the smallest contact made to them.
To me his game is rather similar to mount than havertz interms of chance creations like the Felix love to roam both flanks to whip the ball into the box to the attackers to scores goals..His crossing technique is much better than mount tho, so yeah it interesting what role will he play wich either false nine like havetz or creative no 10 like mount.
I disagree that Havertz and Felix can't work together. Look at how Havertz works in the Germany squad as a 9. he would tandem with felix with playing more advanced and can take up more of a striker role. Beforehand, due to Mount being in bad form and not having the best vision, Havertz had to take up a lot of the creative responsibilites.
@pythagoras would he fit in barcas side as the gavi role which is a LF technically a ss with balde overlapping on the left and raphinha making runs in behind the defence on the right ? and playing w a elite number 9 lewandowski?
I think spurs was the best fit for him interms of the type of players they got. Chelsea, as you said, don't really have runners in the side, man utd use wingers who are primarily playmakers except rashford, and arsenal don't utilize runners in behind either except for maybe martinelli so I definitely think spurs was the best option.
Low-key spurs was defo the best option. They needed creativity and he’s defo the guy. Chelsea only bought him for 11 million too so spurs should’ve gotten him. I think he would’ve joined them too over chelsea. Poor from Tottenham transfer team as expected.
Hi, I saw this video and was interested in why Joao Felix cant be an attacking midfielder and who are some of the best attacking midfielders itw. Furthermore would you class Odegaard or Coutinho as a attacking midfielder ?
It’s because he doesn’t get involved enough in possession. The timing of when he joins in with play and the volume of his participation points to a player who likes being closer to goal and being a final third specialist rather than a player like Odegaard who is effective even in deeper areas and performs more midfield actions. The way they smell a game and join in with a game is different and it’s those little things which tell you if a player is an advanced 8 or a pure 10/SS.

Finally ar Barcelona 🎉🎉🎉🎉, shere talent management is excellent 👌👍
I really think he can fit in firmino role well
He is pretty much less polished version of him but i think its a little but more naturally talented
Chelsea signed Mudryk now, so Felix transfer really makes sense now, really great Video btw, keep it up man
You have another new subscriber 👌
How? They both occupy the same area on the pitch (left).
Thanks for the vid
You assessment of Felix is somewhat correct but is still massively flawed. Much of Felix's issues do not lie in ability but in the way that he is used at AM under Simeone. He made a mistake going there for sure. One thing though is that he has definitely improved defensively 😬
Wonderful Analysis, please could you do a Tactical Analysis for christopher Nkunku who is chelsea bound
Chelsea hierarchy probably watched this video and acted fast with mudryk
I saw the chiesa shout !! Lol .. would love to get him from juve especially given their current situation. Question is, is he still the same player after the injury
great video can you do martin odegaard?
In my opinion felix should work a lot to help barcelona and xavi also should make him a better player
So I figure I'd just ask you right here. How do you rate Diaby? Is he ready for a big step up? And would a 4-3-3 with a front line of Nkunku-Havertz-Diaby work? Many thanks and great video as always!
it's 200k per week which is 4m not 14m
8m loan fee
Thoughts on Kvaratskhelia and Mudryk as players and their potentials ?
Could he lead the line for Manchester United? With Rashford, Antony, Garnacho, et all making runs behind? He'd fit into Ten hags pressing side as well!!
Could you do “how good is Messi ?”
My thoughts exactly 😂😂,he’d everything here
Not worthy of doing that yet
Do Mudryk next
It’s on its way
Update: Chelsea got Mudryk as well
We have Sterling, Auba & Pulisic who could be the runners in behind that Félix needs to thrive with?
Neither of these guys has the pace they used to. All past their prime and in Pulisic case just plain unlucky with hamstring issues which curtailed his electric pace.
I really love your videos ❤️ and please can you do us Christopher nkuku own 🙏
I think Boehly watched your video and went and got Mudryk
Watching this video again after Felix announces he is a barca fan
Pls make an analysis on sergej pinyaev.
I thought the same for a possision based teams playing against compact defenses he will not perform
How do you think he'll do with mudryk at Chelsea now? With taking in consideration that James and chillwell are back?
great video what website do you use for stats please??
Is he fit in Barcelona ?
Bro just do nkunku detail one, pls
How would he fit in liverpool under slot?
@@askaakra99 not much point thinking about that at this point
Hey Pyth is he also a more similar profile to Nkunku and Palmer?
I’d love for him to be utilised on the left being able to have freedom to interchange with Nkunku
You know when you show the stats at the start of each section, where are they from?
Wyscout
His pace and dribbling speed are medium/slow paced. I don't know why you labelled it as his strength. Defenders catch up to him very easily even after he beats them, that combined with his lack of physicality is a huge problem and makes him ineffective against low-block systems.
Correct. I bet the giant defenders of Premiership will crushim. Just look at the red card recently. He was frustrated and commited the foul.
@@jonpaul3868 He committed the foul to make amends for the bad touch, not due to frustration. And I don't know why people hype the physicality of the PL when the ref is always holding hands of the players and awards a free kick on the smallest contact made to them.
Welcome to Barcelona
Where do you get your stats from?
To me his game is rather similar to mount than havertz interms of chance creations like the Felix love to roam both flanks to whip the ball into the box to the attackers to scores goals..His crossing technique is much better than mount tho, so yeah it interesting what role will he play wich either false nine like havetz or creative no 10 like mount.
It's quite understandable why he wants to leave athletico. If he can join Barcelona, it would be a life changer for him.
I hope Barca signs him 😄
Well, here he is
Forca barca 🎉
this kid is only 23... all the talent is there for a sublime player if he plays with a bit more purpose. Welcome to Chelsea
I think he went to A.Madrid was because the history of great strikers that are developed there and he thought he could be the next one
Low centre of gravity is the massive advantage in Felix over havertz. Don’t expect anything from havertz causing problems 1v1
Just like you said
We now have a Mudryk👍🏽
this aged so da*n well... the ending!
the goat
Can you do a Christopher nkuku Chelsea tactical analysis
I disagree that Havertz and Felix can't work together. Look at how Havertz works in the Germany squad as a 9. he would tandem with felix with playing more advanced and can take up more of a striker role. Beforehand, due to Mount being in bad form and not having the best vision, Havertz had to take up a lot of the creative responsibilites.
Havertz does absolutely nothing creatively.
Now we have Mudryk and Madueke what do you think ??
hey you should do a video on mikhailo mudryk
On its way
@pythagoras would he fit in barcas side as the gavi role which is a LF technically a ss with balde overlapping on the left and raphinha making runs in behind the defence on the right ? and playing w a elite number 9 lewandowski?
He is an ideal replacement for Firmino of Liverpool
Make a video about mudryk
Make one about mudryk !
