I remember watching this when I was in the seventh grade in 2007. This was one of my first RUclips videos I ever watched so this has a special place in my heart. Every year or so I come back and watch. Truly a masterpiece.
Eric Grant That's funny I was also in year 7 back in 2007 and this was also one of my first RUclips videos I watched as I was playing KOTOR 2 on the PC around the same time and I started using the Internet looking up KOTOR 1 and 2 videos, I've remembered this video ever since.
It's so cool to see so many people come back to this video after so many years! I too watched this as a kid back in 2006 as just a 10 year old, now I'm nearly 25. I really hope we do get a new KOTOR of some sort one day.👍
@@Raidercast you should be super proud! You crafted a masterpiece of a video that is forever etched in the minds of so many former kids, now young adults.
I've just re-watched this video for the first time in years - I wish I'd been able to make it in HD back then. I'm glad some people are still enjoying it! RIP Lucasarts. Very sad.
I've had this in my favorites for what feels like a lifetime now and I keep coming back to it every few years. So well put together and so much nostalgia.
@@Raidercast It's funny how when I first watched this I thought this was the only video on the channel but subscribed anyway. Then 5 years later I discovered that you had done plenty of other stuff. Though at the time I think this video was probably a little out of place on your channel because if I recall correctly, the rest of your channel was mostly Tomb Raider vids.
I came back to this classic a week after the remake had been announced due to the memories of watching this video multiple times as well as the portrayal of Revan and the necessary information from the original games that at this point most of us played over 20-30 times. I am cautiously optimistic about the remake and excited to see what stays the same, what changes had been made, new story twists and to see if it will stand up to the original. No matter what, I believe that the KOTOR games will always have an impact on the fans who have played this gem.
SWTOR would've been fine if it could've been... 1) On a console 2) Offline or Online instead of strictly online I actually enjoyed the variety of classes & each class having a separate story but I hated how you needed others to complete a lot of missions. I'd rather be on my own with a companion character & go through the journey rather than depend on other people.
I agree. But doing flashpoints with the double XP you get from missions helps alot (with not having to do painful side quests that are all the fucking same.) The current 12x to all class quests are amazing also.
I agree with having SWTOR be a single player RPG, but putting in on consoles is silly. KOTOR games are best on PC, in terms of controls, graphic quality, framerate, and mods.
Disney should just make individual starwars movies after this Legacy arc. Actually take time and tell the Origins of the Jedi and the Sith. Or at least the story of Revan and then Bane. But if they did, Bane would have to be rated R(which disney doesn't do), and if they messed up Revan AT ALL Disney would die.
But now they can redo them as well. They could give Revan his original story and make him the anti-Palpatine like he was supposed to be. He wasn't supposed to have been captured for 300 years. He was supposed to have stayed a Jedi Knight and infiltrate the Sith Empire and bring them down from the inside. It would've been an epic storyline, and now Disney can do it.
Yes it is made by the company, Bioware, which made the 1st game, but Obsidian made the 2nd one. The second one added a ton of questions, and the 3rd game was originally going to be made by Obsidian too, but it was cancelled because Lucas Arts was low on money or something. So the info we got was from Bioware, but it was not the original idea as the original conclusion was to be made by Obsidian. Obsidian were the ones who introduced the idea of Revan leaving known space after the 1st game and had their own idea of how the new story they created should have ended.
Reed019 Actually, the third one was set to be made by Bioware, which was cancelled by LucasArts. Obsidian says they still think about making a new one.

Great vid. I found it when it first came out and still to this day show it to my friends who play the KOToR games and are confused about whether Revan was good or bad all along.
It takes just one man to mount & reshape the galaxy 3 times over, history remembers such people & they rarely are ever forgotten, Vader's bloodline rules the galaxy, who knows when yet another Legends of the Past steps out of the Shadow once more to join the fray & make the battlefield his domain! One man, neither Jedi & Sith yet both at the same time, not the most strongest nor the fastest build yet, but strongest in the Force & the most charismatic of any other, one man, the humble & wise, both tenacious & ferocious yet far cunning then any before him.
