I was very impressed by the song and especially the lyrical choices. "No time in the bardo" is particularly appropriate. For those who might not know, the bardo is a transitional state between death and rebirth in some Buddhist teachings. It can take many forms, some pleasant and some which are quite terrifying or painful. The use of a single phrase highlights our own uncertain time of transition between the past and an uncertain future. I hear hope in this song even amid the sorrows and very layered melodies. I look forward to hearing more.
