@@coldskoolbeatz do not talk about D'Angelo, bit talk about the SOULQUARIANS as a team. They made it all together. Let us do not forget it, please. History must be know and fair to all.. peace my bro
8:16 yeah didn’t need that, beat 🔥. String part fit better. But sh*t if that how coming 🤷🏾♂️. I don’t have nothing out so I can’t say nothing. But I think it took away from the vocal chop
So much fun. One question: how did you know to pick that part of the entire vocal wav file and how did you know it was in the right key (or put it in the right key)? Love that you combine DAWs for different purposes. Much respect!
When it got to The Chopping of the vocals, I was really sent away and just doing more than two stepping lol! Keep up the cooking, King Yaahn!!! 🙌🏿👑🎵🎶✊🏿
This was really dope. Thanks for the video. It’s crazy that as much as I’ve tried it, I still can’t record to a drum loop. I always make something melodic first then add rhythmic elements that turns into drum tracks. Kinda upside down I guess 🤷♂️😆
The content of the new Logic pro masterclass is similar to the viral Sound Ableton masterclass , but in Logic ?, I use Logic pro, Iam intereseted to learn the topics of the Ableton masterclass but in Logic jaja 😂
One of the BIGGEST disconnects i have with watching producers cook up is... it always sounds ready for release and professionally done right off the rip. But when i go through thebsame steps everything is so wonky, imbalanced, and just not good. The concept isnt hard to grasp. I have been playing piano for 16 years but man... How do you get all your levels and samples SOOOO quality and clean?
Its all about sound selection, and is why some beats or instrumentals sound more release ready then others, Yaahn has gone through all the sounds and samples He has and picked the ones that work best together. You should just make lots of different projects and experiment and eventually you will hear the ones that sound better then all the rest with minimal work. Next save those projects and then use that as a template for more project's, I make many many new projects out of one original project and most dont sound anything like each other but they all sound just as good because there all using the same source.
I completely understand where you're coming from! I mix (level balance) as I go! The second I add a new instrument, I turn it up or down to BLEND! The next thing is Sound Selection! Great sounds will already make you sound polished and radio ready. I highly encourage you to checkout my Viral Sound Masterclass. We cover this IN DEPTH! Beats like this remind me of when D'Angelo was on top of his game.

I do whichever comes first! I'll start with chords sometimes! Keep killing!
What is the machine that u cut the samples with. I guess I missed where u introduced it
Why does this video title look like a hidden locker combination? 😂 As always, good work. 🙏🏿💪🏿🤘🏿
LMBO!
Magic man? Do you already know what key you gonna play in? Or you just flow with it? 🤔
Yo Yo! I honestly flow with what tones sound good together. Sometimes I'll transpose what I played after the fact too find the best key well!
@@Yhuntermusic so you have perfect pitch?
@@JungleSurvivor19 Almost.. lol I can identify most notes by ear.
Logic Pro 11 is the TRUTH!
I love this guy, but when did Yaahn start saying “sick” in every video?? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
