great video but there is one correction buddy - "wmic memphysical get maxcapacity" Max RAM capacity will be of 1 DIMM channel in the laptop. whatever the value you get then multiply by number of channels in laptop/desktop to get max capacity. Since you only had 1 DIMM channel on your laptop so it showed that value which is max. but if you had 2 DIMM channels as most laptops nowadays then you have to multiply by no of channels

my laptop has two slots, command says i can upgrade upto 32 gb, but the problem is 1 slot from company itself is soldered I cant change that and has inbuilt 4gb ram on that slot...other one is vacant...how make it 32 gb then...please suggest

My laptop RAM capacity is 16 GB (16777216) and the slots available are 2. Currently, the RAM size is 8 GB. I have a question, is it advisable to upgrade to 16 GB, or should upgrade to one step below i.e., 12 GB or 10 GB.
In case I upgraded to 16 GB, does it has any side effects on 'Motherboard' or any other parts of the laptop.

No problem u can use 8-8 GB ram in both slots,like I have 32 GB capacity and I am using 16-16 GB in both slots
no it doesnt have any side effects unless you put ram more than 16

When I am using my task manager to see the capacity of slots it is showing 1 and when I am using cmd and types those commands as you have shown to see the capacity using cmd it is showing me 4 how ?
