Wow. Visited Anzac Bridge on the 8th but since it was raining that day, didn't do much. Tomorrow is our last full day in Sydney, plan to visit Bondi, Watson Bay, Circular Quay, Darling Harbour/Quarter/Square, and do a few walk videos. 2 weeks go fast when you're on holiday. If you want more sun, visit Perth.
Hi Phil, interesting video. I can vaguely remember seeing this station just after it opened. In the early days, some of the teenagers used to slide down the moving handrail on the escalators there. My last train trip to Circular Quay with my dad, included seeing the QE2 ship in Sydney Harbour in early 1978. Circular quay Station still looks quite modern and it hasn't seemed to change that much over the years. Incidentally, do the Airport trains use the underground platforms at Central or the above ground platforms? The Airport line didn't exist when I was living in Sydney. Anyway, take care. Rob in Melbourne Australia.
Thanks. I was wondering how they did that, as there are no extra tunnels at Museum heading to underground Central as far as know. So, I gather the trains go underground after Circular Quay traveling via St James and Museum, then surface for Central, then underground again for Green Square. Sounds quite interesting. I would be most interested in seeing a video of that entire line.
@sydneytrainsvlogs I loved my first cruise to the south pacific in 2019.since then I have done 2 more and I'm about to to a 12 night NZ cruise in 31 days on ovation of the seas thru the sounds witch I am very excited to see.

The Airport trains use the above ground platforms. Platform 23 is towards the airport.

It looks like the Princess Cruise's logo on the funnels partially covered with mouse ears. 🏳🌈
