David, I have 2 upcoming shows which are spaced 2 hours apart at the same venue. How much time is required for the setup? The 2nd show's audience will surely expect to see this effect after hearing about it from the 1st show's audience. They will both be parlor shows with 40 people each in attendance. Thank you for all you do for the magic community. I have saved soooo much money, time, and effort because of your selflessness. Wonderful work you do. Very personal and professional.

I assume you need to find the cork afterwards. Watching a $200 gimmick fire off into the abyss only to be lost under a table at a wedding would be painful.

I am the creator of sparkling, just let me share my experience for you.
We shared this in our teaching video, too.
There’s two situations, you have assistance or not. This is not easy to use words to express my eyes movement. But if you saw the video you will understand what I mean.
And pleas don’t think that the cork will pops up like a rocket🤣 there’s still an area that the cork might be dropped. Hope my answers are useful for you!
@@JamesWangMagic I just bought two units and I've got to wait a month for it to arrive. Is there a video tutorial link on RUclips, Vimeo, or the Hanson Chien site I can start brainstorming and learning the effect?
I work in the restaurant and would love to start planning immediately.
I would love to use this for wedding gigs, but I just wouldn't want to go crawling around under tables to get the gimmick back after each performance LOL

Quick question David....with the cork being the gimmick, once it takes off and flys around the room, if someone picks it up (as would likely happen at a gathering), will they find anything? Or do you have to be the one to recover the cork quickly?
Hi John, I am the creator of sparkling. Let me explain for you!
In the past 3 years, Before I decided share this prop for magicians, I do a lot of test of this. Here is my experience. I had have this situation twice. The first time is a man who pick it up. But I didn’t ask him bring the gimmick back to me immediately, I saw him pick it up, take a look, after that he put it on the table and keep watching my show. In my opinion that they don’t know what that shape means. And the second time was a kid, she pick it up and walk on stage and return it to me.
In the teaching video we also share when is the best timing to pick the gimmick and also share how I asking audience to return the cork back to me. And few weeks ago, David Penn show us his way to pick it back and he also switch a normal one and give it to audience.

Is there a shelf life on how long the bottle / bear trap :) can stay armed? Is the champagne's taste affected in any way?
taste is not affected
According to the creator, once armed, the effect can be triggered up to 6 hours later (the duration of the battery life).
You don’t put a chemical in the Champaign ? You can serve it to drink after ?
Champagne can be immediately drank by guests
No one addresses the other part where you make the co2 dissappear from the coke bottle. I assume that is a separate trick and not for sale?

If I’m kinda clumsy or not a diy guy, how difficult is the setup? Is it true you figure about 10 minutes?
not difficult. it's more like packing a suitcase than it is making a playing card tower

I am the creator of Sparkling.
We separate the setting procedure to 2 parts.
There’s still some settings you can do it before( include charging, unload the aluminum foil.) We suggest to set the cork before your show( don’t be too early). And yes , it take 10 minutes. Now I can set it for 2 minutes.

@@magicorthodoxy Correct, but it's good to know how it all works and any good magician should watch the tutorial MULTIPLE TIMES before even touching the gimmick. This reduces the amount of damage you do
