Idk I feel like they shouldn't have eased up on her regardless, because then it wouldn't be a genuine representation of what goes on behind the scenes in the office. As a bartender, your skills and product have to be showcased in the moment, so adding extra pressure on Tan by being a hardass would've been counterproductive.

It has to be set up for other people to help, otherwise you just have footage of a total fail - then they just look like jerks for doing this.
What a lot of people get wrong and what a lot of bosses incentivize wrong is that a competative work place doesn't mean people have to compete against each other. It's about having useful output.

I worked at kfc for years and everyone I told just made fun of me and acted like I didn’t do anything. It’s the same as Rochelle’s job, it’s a lot of physical activity and heavy lifting, as well as dealing with customers and cooking in the heat
