Brooklyn 99 is one of those shows you can throw on in the background and barely notice for 3 episodes, and when you resume attention nothing has changed and you'll always hear the same joke regurgitated at some point. It's safe, it has culturally relevant preachy commentary, it has a playful style, and -no one's- relatively few people are going to think you're weird for liking it.
