- The Lancia brand is BACK! With the same trait it once possessed, the style! With an interesting alternative to the popular Stellantis A-segment car - the passionate Fiat 500!
Then there is something even smaller and gorgeous, and SWISS! The Microlino!
The Lancia Ypsilon 2024 has arrived but much to my surprise. I didn't even know Lancia had plans to make a come back, but here they are! Thanks to Stellantis!
The Lancia Ypsilon shares the same platform as the Opel Corsa and Peugeot 208, which does explain the slight similarities to the Corsa. But differences emerge when you look at the styling.
Primary competitors of the Lancia Ypsilon would be other B-segment models, like the famous Volkswagen Polo, the reliable Toyota Yaris, and the French Renault Clio.
Strong resemblance to Lancia models of the 2000s. Although there were interesting times for Lancia.
Long ago, until the 1990s, the Lancia brand had one of the best cars in every aspect: Performance, design and desirability. Their cars would humiliate everyone at the rally races.
But in the 90s their focus shifted to the mass-market. Their cars were cheap and stylish, but they never had the reliability. To be fair this was the same problem with Fiat cars as well - Beautiful and cheap to afford, but not very reliable.
However since the mid 2010s, and ever since Fiat Chrysler grew stronger, their reliability and quality improved. Now with Stellantis, FCA and PSA merged, the have gone to a new level! Especially in terms of quality and desirability.

well done and a beautiful car.
Hi! From Chile. It looks like a good Lancia. I hope (and believe) that Lancia comes back good and strong.
We haven’t had Lancia in the UK for thirty years.
Really? Well I'm sure things will change soon, for the better!
The last Lancias in the UK where rebadged as Chrysler so maybe like 8-10 years ago
@@randomthingsstuff6591 I see a few of these Chrysler Ypsilons in my area.
What I mean in the original comment is that a Lancia-badged product hasn’t been sold in the UK for thirty years.
1,6, R4 engine is needed.
Any car being electric condemns it. For the same and even cheaper price one can get the new Alfa Romeo Junior and Mazda 3 hatch and they are not even electric. The Mazda is not a clone like the Lancia is either.
The price can be better Lancia
Looks like crap, same side mirrors on all Stellantis. Is it a Opel, Peugeot, Fiat or any other off those...?
*Lancia Delta not Beta
This DOPE hasnt a clue about Lancias History Go back to sleep
