I seem to recognise all the commercials from the 80s that had animated elements, puppets, or were about sweets/crisps/chocolates.
But show me an 80s commercial that was advertising anything else (e.g. supermarkets, car dealerships hardware products etc) and I'd draw a blank 😆. Probably cos i was a child in the 80s, so i must've averted my attention whenever "boring" commercials came on, lol!

Have you noticed the ones that are out now are not only smaller, but the beef ones are the wrong shape. The foot shape was originally used for the pickled onion flavour, while the beef ones were represented by the long-necked monster shape. AND they used to cost about 7p - now pubs are charging 75p. Still, the beef ones taste great with a pickled egg in with them. Go on, try it.

If they had spent the night in _Haunted Wood_ with a bag of lettuce and other vegetables then the night would've passed without incident, unless a monstrous giant rabbit turned up.
