Your talent with this instrument is incredible. Reminds of me sounds reverberating through the walls of a canyon. Blissful, empty, yet so full. Hats off to you Sir 🎩
Very nice playing, can I make one suggestion. When your playing the high e string you tend to drag the slide across the frets along the bottom of the fret board and rattle. Just something to be aware of. All in all a great job.
Same here, lately I have been exploring flaminco. I have played slide for 20 years. Still my favorite style on the guitar. Might be a little easier without the rings on as well. Best of luck, sounds great!
Thank you! 🎸🖤 Me myself have been playing allmost only open tunings and slide. Blues was the first thing i start learning. And when my ears heard Winter, elmore, cooder i played slide only like a year. Im still learning. Check out my other videos if you like slide music👊🎸
@@SmokeyFord I've only been playing for a couple of years. But really into that swampy, outlaw Delta blues sound. This absolutely inspired me. Fantastic playing and a great tune. Also, subscribed, so I'll be binge listening and stealing a few ideas LOL.
Hello mate! I like your videos keep up with what you are doing! Btw do you think that you maybe can redo a song that i recorded from a movie series that is not a public song? If you can where can I contact you and send de video? Peace ✌✌
@@SmokeyFord Good answer....The Fender Malibu is a brilliant little guitar and, in the right hands, sounds as good as any of the mega expensive guitars out there; as you prove in this video...great feel and great playing.

Don't be so knit picking, it's supposed to sound like that. Real!
This reminds me..... I need another guitar to keep in open tuning.
I also need to practice my slide a lot more.
