this is what i love about darts, you try things that are not like your used to and your surprised they work, maybe you should play with these a bit you throw them well!
They certainly look impressive, although not a shape I would tend to favour. They flew well for you Darren, on the first page for each of the challenges - well done. "Happy darting" indeed 😀
I love ´em. Seems like a nice dart mixing several features fromShot´s ranges. The form is from the Berserker, front and rear grip come from the ZEN range and the "new" grip in the middle is a variant of their Roman Empire testudo grip which I already know and appreciate in my Shot Ballista competition darts. Got the email revealing the Rannsaka a few days ago and immediately ordered them...hopefully they´ll arrive this weekend.
Think the Berserker were tapered each end, these are probably closer to the Drakkar, grip in the middle was used on the Drakkar too. I am sure you will like them though :)
Love your Reviews! ❤ at the Moment I play the RVB 95 Echo, but the pull section in front is not big enough for me. I am searching for an front weighted barrel with a nice pull/push section right at the front, maybe scalloped right behind the nose of the barrel (i am a front gripper). Any ideas? Something like the Gary Anderson Phase 6.. but the Push/pull point must be nearer to the nose. Thankfull for any help!
Thanks, glad to hear you love the reviews! :) There is not as many darts with near front scallops, Shot Enso, One80 Ascent but not quite same shape as Echos. Think the One80 Black Jack modle 3 may be closer in shape that has a scallop, Cuesoul motorcycle orange has a front scallop and the Motorcycly blue looks similar shape to Echo with more grip. The Target Ultra Marine 02 have a grippy front but pricey darts. Target ALX 02 might be worth a look also. Target Taylor Power 8zero too. There is also the Merv King darts but again its not same shape as echo. Red Dragon Amari too. I just recently ordered the Dart World Talon darts, not got them yet but looks a good grip near front but may be too far from the nose yet.
Nice Review , the Piant Looks Not so accurate- as on the smith Darts , is that a thing too ? Ist the coating still on or wearinh off After These Months ? Cheers from Germany
Thanks! I dont use the darts as long as some as I have so many to review and only stick to my main darts mostly, but I have seen it last for some quite well, all depends on the individual though. One guy years ago wore the blue coating off some Harrows Aura in just a couple of hours, I think he had acid for sweat! :)
@@Cowabunga10101 LOL I think people have been listening too strictly to the other guy and not seeing the bigger picture. Yes the lip can do damage but there is all kinds of reasons it may cause more or less damage depending how your darts land in the board and how the incoming darts make contact. The rest of the barrel can do plenty of damage if its a grippy dart. Also some people prefer to use flat bull nose darts where putting a storm type point on or a cone will only make a minimal difference. To be fair though I guess it helps to eliminate the lip as much as you can but its only going to help so much with certain darts and wont be good for people who like to have their finger resting up against the lip :) I like to give balanced info on this channel :)
@@DartsReviewChannel Well he does mention it in EVERY video, it can be a little annoying, that is one of the reasons, there were many more, i stopped watching his channel. I dont know if people compare the two of you but its really not even a close comparison. You actually review the product, he doesnt. And youre nice to the people who comment, he isnt. But he is american, so some of the "attitude/arrogance" may come from that😄
@@Cowabunga10101 LOL I dont watch all his videos, just odd bits here and there if someone tells me to check something, but I have heard a few moan about that particular thing. Not read many of his video comments either but not surprised to hear you say that. He only does darts reviews because I do them, and I used to have on my channel that I was the "No 1 Darts Review Channel" it was a bit of a jokey thing but he hates anyone being better at him at something so he started doing "reviews" more and more to try to be the best. He will tell you he is too which I find funny, I couldn't care less as that is not why I started doing reviews, it was something I did because I enjoyed talking about darts stuff :)
The darts are beautiful, may you should keep them. Maybe if you would shot them a while you would find the perfect grip. I just wonder why didn't you changed so tweny would be green, I guess this is the only reason why you don't hit the tripple 20 all the time, because you ignore the red. 😁 I'm sure it must be a rule, in the other hand, is there even a rule?
💚 me too, maybe it could be a funny idea, you where the only one who would have the green parts at the 20. It would make your account even more unique. Maybe for a Christmas and new year special. 😊😊
Nothing as exciting as a new Shot release.....even back weighted ones...😢 But I'm not sure why they paired up those awesome blood red barrels with blueish colored flights??? Looks off. 🤔
I hold a dart with middle finger and thumb at the front with pointer finger at the back of the dart. The finger next to my pinky is resting on the point. Not sure what sort of grip thats classed as?
Great review again of a nice dartset, Darren! In your case: get the 20 gram soft tip version, reverse the barrel, add the Target 2BA Swiss Converter and you create a front weighted carrot. Perfect, allreet!
i was hesitant hitting the like button as it was on 69 jahhhhhhh lol , my fave colors must be green as well as i am always in trble 5 and 1, maybe its a irish thing
I usually prefer front weighted darts, but I tried a rear weighted dart a while ago and they worked incredibly well for me. Never owned a set of Shot darts, but I always loved the machining on them. These look absolutely amazing! So Darren, just wanted to say that my birthday is coming up in a month or so. Maybe a giveaway is around the corner...? ;)
Lol it was 100 at 20, it's a bit silly throwing 1 last dart but then it would be 99 darts at 20, having the one last dart though can be a nice pressure shot if you are close to beating your record 😊
This Viking raid on the island of Lindisfarne, just off the Northumbrian coast, was not the first in England oi oi keep it up awesome as usual
Aye been there a few times 😊👍

Yeah it's often why I tell people you don't know till you try them but it's also fun to try something different 👍😊
Cool looking dart from Shot. Good review as always Darren
Yeah another good one cheers Glenn 👍
Beautiful darts, good scores and again a great video review, thank you so much Darren!
Thanks mate 👍😊

They did fly well, and afterwards too, played with them a bit more, was very close to a 180 a few times :)
Shot delivers again and again.Quality unusual dart!!!
Always 😊💚

Nicely made darts as always, but not green lol
Yeah not this time 😭
Interesting shape and grip but just aren't for me. Great review as always Darren... you did well on the challenges. Happy darting!

Check out Custommade darts in the UK, you can literally tell them what you want and they can make it.

@@DartsReviewChannel thx m8, I will take a look to all of this 🤩
you should ask mister green to be a sponsor ;)
LOL good idea! :)
Lovely looking dart. It does look to me like they have scalloped sections but like you say the old mince pies can play tricks.
Yeah I think it could be a trick of the light :)
The Shot range seem decent in design and quality , but their pricing seems a bit steep .
Depends where you live, in their area the prices are very reasonable :)

A great looking dart! A perfect dart if the install a specialty point there is a big lip. Thats eating your flights
Yes and no, some times the barrels grip can cause more damage 🙂
@@DartsReviewChannelexactly. Everybody just focuses on the point, when the barrel might do way more damage than "the lip". #verybiglipgang😂

Hey Darren, maybe you should try a grey background for the very close up - video so we could see the profile better and more sharp.? 🤔

Beautiful points I must say . Then the dart is pretty itself ; seems back to front for my grip though ! Blood on leather , no green then ....
Yeah but would have to be a Vulcan 🖖 not a Viking for green blood 😁
they may not be for me a playing dart, but very much a collection dart, they look amazing as do most Shot darts.
Yeah look great but good fun to throw too :)
Looks like my favorite dart off shot the Roman Empire Ballista.
They have some great themes in their dart ranges :)
Thanks

Magnificent looking darts 👍👍
They are :)
