I’m glad to see cel shading done right and on my favorite street level marvel hero. A couple of points: making it Hasbro pulse only is annoying because they don’t deliver to where I live and the bigger sin is not doing the blue punisher against Matt. Having those two in a pack would’ve been absolutely incredible.

I’m missed out on that three pack with daredevil so I’m glad I get another chance plus I didn’t get the first hydro man either. Also I’m even more hyped for daredevil because I recently finished all three seasons of daredevil✌️
I have my DD on hand and it feels like the butterfly shoulders were improved. They go further back now. And totally agree on a new Punisher. Best of luck on that replacement.
Hopefully, we get a Spider-man animated series 2pack: Silver Sable and Black Cat. Both in new Black widow body mold. Now that's gonna be lit for sure🔥. Though if they don't want to include Black Cat since they love random characters, maybe they could add Chameleon instead. Still gonna buy it since I need to have those two in an updated version.
I want all of that. As a huge Black Cat and Silver Sable fan, I’m dying for Black Cat and Silve Sable on a double diaphragm joint. Just note that they’ll require a new upper torso. Hopefully with more range in that area.
I agree. The retro card line should be for animated and comic based figures. These "VHS" boxes are just hold overs from the plastic less packaging scam Hasbro was running. Not to mention Pulse being a big FU to the direct market in general.

Top tier 🤙also many good points, I'd 100% buy deluxe hydro with swappable arms and water spout attachment (sandman repaint option too)

I've had to do that around 7 or 8 times in my life, only ONCE were they actually able to give me the same figure that I needed replaced. Usually they give me a figure of "equal or greater value" which sometimes ended up working out in my favor, but I really just wanted a replacement for my messed up figure!!

Atp, I’m just waiting for Hasbro’s Marvel Legends team to finally give us some Hulk: The Animated Series Marvel Legends (also, the 2019 80th anniversary two-pack Hulk practically looks like Hulk from that animated series).
Not sure if I'll get that new DD since I already have the DD from the 3-pack which I'm already pretty happy with. That said, regardless of how people feel about the armored DD, that's still ML's best DD figure to date IMO.
The only way "light science" was applied to the shading on that Daredevil is if you assume the light is coming from the back. Otherwise it makes no sense to have heady shading in the central ab area and no shading on either side of that. Looks better than what they did in the past, but it's not the kind of shading you get if you assume a specific light source and apply shading in accordance with that, at least not based on figs I've seen where they were truly consistent with that.

Everybody says the cell shading on DD looks good but I am not so sure of that. What I mean is he looks good with a mix of red and black regardless and if he was a different color character, would it still be considered as good?
This cel-shading does look waaaay better than anything else they’ve done so far. I still won’t grab this though because I hate this buck. Hydro Man looks dope tho
Hasbro's gonna milk the 2 pack 3 pack to death now that they know they can over charge for them and don't even need to put in a BAF part. The BAF lines? Force collectors to buy 6 figures but 3 to 4 of them are repaints that nobody ask for.
They didn't do the three pack right, and neither this one, seems like a classic move of Hasbro, milk a lot, till next version. Probably they will do the red and yellow version, just for more pleasure, lol.

Yeah. I’m entitled to that option as a consumer. And I said I’ll seek a replacement. Which means I’m not fully returning it for a refund. I’ll get an exchange to get a new one and send this one back.
I really hope we get a lizard in this line don’t give me wrong. The retro lizard is nice but man he is way too small in my opinion. Lizard should be big and hulking not quite big, of course, but pretty big in my opinion.
I get you. They went with the more classic comic Lizard who was much smaller in size. It’s a matter of preference some liked the smaller one to be classic comic accurate. I prefer the big hulking Lizard like you do.
The first daredevil had virtually no paint. The new one comes with A LOT of paint that only a niche group of people want. The hasbro team is going to do their best to milk as much fucking money out of daredevil before they give us a perfect classic one. Haven’t bought a legends figure since 2022 and honestly I’m nowhere near getting a new one soon. There are so many other lines actually getting right all the time. The legends team just keeps seeing how they can squeeze us for as much money as they can. Pass.

That’s one of the few characters they can’t get right. His AOA however, was the best Iceman figure in my opinion. I love that figure.
