Let me know if you enjoyed the out and about style of video, paired with a bit of cooking at the end! Going to be doing lots more of this in the future🎄🎉
As a German, I feel honored that you had an enjoyable time in Cologne (arguably not our prettiest city) - even better that you liked the food! Glad to have you back someday :)
I actually live near Köln and just imagined how weird and surreal it would have been to bump into you there 😂 Just taking a normal everyday stroll on a local Weihnachtsmarkt then seeing the "let's do some cooking" guy who I watch on RUclips 😃 I hope you had an awesome time and we're treated well by my fellow countrymen
I love this concept of going out and tasting iconic/cultural foods in their natural habitats and then making at home versions of your favorites! I definitely want to try making the mushrooms and mulled wine. Can’t wait to watch more videos like this!
Try the curry sauce with a dash of orange juice and an additional tablespoon of tomato paste, Worchester sauce is good, I would leave out the onions, otherwise 1/2 clove of garlic if possible. You can also make the sauce hot, if desired with rose paprika powder. There are so many variations and opportunities. Great vid anywaay.
What a great festive video it was so nice to see the warming foods they have at the German Christmas market! Thanks for the currywurst recipe I've never had that before and now I want to try it!
i appreciate all the afford you did on the video. Me as a german it was a delight to see someone who is excited to create all of these german classics from the Weihnachtsmarkt. Most of the shops dont put this much work in the meals. Sometimes do the frozen fries out of the store the same trick :D Keep up the nice work and if you are next time in germany you give Franken a try :) We have also good foods and beer as well. Happy Holidays !
I’d love to! I’ve done a few before and they’re great. This was the only one open when I went, as most actually opened the few days later. Will be back next year! 🙌
Just saw it's your birthday...happy birthday, have a blast 😊 I like how you show the places where you get your food and a wholesome opinion on everything and positive vibes all through. If I ever visit Germany I will try the food from these places 👍
As a southern German, I am proud that you present our traditional dishes at Christmas time. However, the Swabian "Krautschupfnudeln" are a must! The best there is 😉 if you need a traditional recipe, feel free to get in touch 😊😅
me being german i find your reactions very relatable to what i feel as a german myself when i eat those things except for the roasted potatoes i see those so much at work that i cant stand it anymore :D but yeah pretty good video that brings the actual feelings towards this food pretty close to what i feel as a native
on your next visit you gotta try the baumstriezel! its some sort of yeasty dough put on a big stick, roasted over open fire and then rolled in sugar/cinnamon or other spices and almonds or different kinds of toppings. Its my favourite to get here in germany, eventhough I think its origins are not from germany but the balkan region!
I have never seen the market in cologne that empty😅 I love the Christmas market in Bonn, so I was really surprised to hear that you know that one as well.
Great to see you enjoyed your time at the Christmas market. Even though i believe the Christmas market at Neumarkt is more beautiful than the Christmas market at the cathedral 😉
Don't be surprised if in another part of Germany you don't get a bratwurst but a thick boiled sausage as a currywurst. It's different in every region. In northern Germany, currywurst is a bockwurst.
Hello, you have created very interesting recipes, but you forgot one important thing, namely carry wurst, you can't use peppers because it is a German dish, not a Hungarian one ;) and Hungarians are specialists in peppers, whether in goulash or goulash soup
I hope you had a great time in Germany 👋 but I'm so sorry you tried the worst kind of beer Germany ever had😂. If you are interested I can send you some of the best beers Germany and Europe have

The Cologne cathedral makes up for anything non-pretty. Spectacular! 🤩
@Mabbi54 true lol
Not the prettiest, but the most charming one

Can't those videos just... get more views?! Why are they so goddamn underrated?! 😭
